Goddamn liar Obama keeps mentioning al Qaeda as the reason we're
bombing and killing people in Afghanistan. He's just as much of a liar
as Bush was.

Petraeus: ‘Double Digits’ of al-Qaeda Fighters in Afghanistan

By Spencer Ackerman 6/17/10 8:12 AM

Something that couldn’t fit into my piece yesterday but bears
mentioning: Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of U.S. forces in the
Middle East and South Asia, told a Senate panel that al-Qaeda’s
presence in Afghanistan numbered in the “double digits.”

In a somewhat heated exchange with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) —
Petraeus at one point told Graham that he preferred “more nuance” than
Graham was willing to provide when describing the state of governance
in Afghanistan — Petraeus said there are “probably very small numbers,
certainly” of al-Qaeda in the country, somewhere in the “double
digits.”

Yeah..
I noted the same thing a few months ago.
Additionally, I noted that the Afghan taliban didn't like the al kaida
being there.

Once again I ask everyone.. 'Why the hell are we spending Billion and
wasting lives there?'

I'd guess that both Petraeus and McChrystal are holdover PLANTS from
the Bush administration with a mission to sabotage OBAMA!

Obama is a total fuck-up and he sabotages himself. He does not need help.

Obama doesn't need anyone to "sabotage" him, he's talented at "screwing
the pooch" himself.

Rightard????

From Obama's oil spill speech

"Abroad, our brave men and women in uniform are taking the fight to
al-Qaeda wherever it exists."

BarackObama.com | Remarks of Senator Obama: The War We Need to Win
Aug 1, 2007 ... We did not finish the job against al Qaeda in
Afghanistan.

One example doesn't support your claim.
