Just a heads up to those of us in San Diego and haven't heard Dr. Keyes speak in
person. Alan will be speaking at the American Conservative Rally, September 7,
1996 at the San Diego Sports Arena. Tickes range from $15-$65 and speakers
include the man who SHOULD be our next president, but also Pat Buchanan, Cal
Thomas, Beverly LaHaye, and some good ol local boys.

To all grassroots guerillas, GOP delegates, and all former supporters and
delegates of all Republican Candidates NOT Alan Keyes (this includes all
those who think they're already bought and paid for, but who'd rather be FREE
MEN again !!!):
OK Here's the B2 drill at the convention. Forget 75mm reruns of Lawrence of
Arabia. Forget the Prime Minister, political manners and conservatives in
liberal compromise. 500 million and more murdered babies cry to Heaven for
vengeance and the USA is leading the fight for "our right to live, to exist."
You won't get this scenario from union thugs dealing political control but
we're talking Guerilla (and I don't mean Koko) tactics here ("Oh! Ah feel
gooooood!").
Pat McGuire (719-590-9262 and see web site) has those glow in the dark Keyes
indoor convention signs and EVERYONE in the convention hall will have
car/house/office KEYS. We have got to start those keys SINGING AND KEEP THEM
GOING THROUGH ALL THE SPEAKERS AT THE GOP CONVENTION UNTIL Alan Keyes SPEAKS
*** no matter when that is ***.
It will disturb the audio for every media feed and speech going out of the
convention hall.
Glints from the silver keys under convention and media lights will make a
hypnotic visual.
It's not as rude as a riot but it gets the point across, keeps it going, is
easy to do, and CAN'T BE STOPPED. And if everyone is doing it continuously
without stop, the RNC can't escort everyone out of the convention hall and WE
WILL WIN THE DAY.
(No one can stop anyone from taking their keys into the convention hall !!!)

Not this year

Unfortunately, this look at the current Keyes campaign is completely what
causes the most problems for Keyes' success.
This post began by praising Keyes--and ended by debasing him and his
supporters. And then, the author had the audacity to say "Looking ahead, not
behind" as his closing comment. To be REALISTIC about the situation, if we
refuse to use the SUCCESS of this year to our advantage, we cannot expect to
look to anything "ahead".
Dr. Keyes' success cannot be "CHEAPENED" by anything!
This is indeed the "year of Keyes". Obviously enough, it's not the
president-elect year, but how can anyone say that we have not covered
enormous territory for what is right?
I suppose, the author of this post would feel better if we all just called it
quits until 2000....
If we could do that and achieve better results, I'm sure ALL of us would
simply do so. The national campaign staff and numerous volunteers have all
given their money, time, energy, and very beings to promote the cries of this
prophet in the wilderness--and we shall never achieve great ends unless we
employ great means.
"...What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the
wind?"
(Matthew 11:7)

Subject: My note to RNC
From: jt...@exis.net
Well, I just sent this to the RNC:
Just as Lincoln opposed slavery on the grounds that it is wrong for a free
people to enslave another, so today we must as Republicans stand up for
what is right because it is right. Keep the ProLife plank in the
platform. Let's be a party of principle, not political expediency, and
leave the results to our Creator (the one mentioned in the Declaration of
Independence.)
Alan Keyes understands this principle. His understanding and delivery
would decimate the arguments of any who would engage him in debate. His
presence on the ticket would bring encouragement to the portion of the
party who elected Reagan twice, Bush once and turned the Congress over to
the GOP. A big tent is meaningless if it is empty. Keyes for V.P.!!!

Subject: "He did his duty"
From: pot...@flash.net
I can vaguely recall a sermon by my ex-pastor in which he recalled what
is on the grave of a great American general, Pershing, if memory does
not fail me. "He did his duty" Yes, the eulogy of a great soldier:
"He did his duty."
We have been recently asked to obey a direct order from the top. Rather
shocking, actually. Here we are, the stealth warriors, those behind
enemy lines in the war between the strong and the weak, whether it
be in academia or industry. Kristin's recent post on tactics for the
convention is a reminder of this... we, the special forces in this
battle, have to use our own God-given abilities. Not to mention the
times we have to phone the regulars and ask them to stop the friendly
fire, to stop shelling the civilians! And, granted the outlook must
look like that MacArthur's men faced on Corrigedor: pretty bleak from
a human point of view. Last year I was blessed to be able to visit
that island and meet a death march survivor. For the first time in
my relatively young life, I was proud to be an American. And then,
a few days later at a Mass attended by five million people, I was
shocked to see among the throngs of people on their knees the behavior
of the Americans... the few who survived one night outdoors were mostly
on their backs. What has happened to America, to America's young,
I asked.
Now we have been given an order. We don't know why. Perhaps it has
nothing to do with Dr. Keyes and the presidency or vice-presidency.
We have just been asked to obey. Remember, the end here is not
to get Dr. Keyes elected. The end is to end the scourge of abortion
in this country. And many of us are the intellectuals, caught in
this pollution of theoretical multiculturalism and deconstructionalism.
And, of course, we have been given encouragement to do what we think
is prudent. But now, the order.... The very first, it must be noted.
And let it be said of us, "he did his duty."

Hi folks,
I've been on the list for awhile - but this is my first post - a
simple statement. I am voting for Alan Keyes. If he's on a ticket I'll
vote for the ticket. If he's not, I'm writing his name in. To do
otherwise in this election seems too much like playing politics [to
me] and I'm not good at that. I plan to vote my conscience. It seems
that Alan is the only one who represents my views and to vote
otherwise would be to silence the one vote I have to speak for what is
right - whether or not I happen to be the majority.
I'll also look forward to voting for him in 2000 unless, as I hope, my
true Commander-in-Chief [Jesus] has returned to Earth before then.
Keep up the good work! blessings - John Cowan

Sorry Brian,
but no one has ever made it by stopping short and "giving up" until next
time!
The Keyes supporters have a vigilence that should not be snuffed out or
put aside. We should continue to push ahead and make his name well known
amongst the public and we are not going to be able to do that if we give
up now. If you truly believe in someone and you truly believe that that
person is the answer to our humanitarian problems then why would you give
up? If you give up aren't you also giving up on finding a solution to the
problem and letting down society?
