States RIGHTS is just that..... it has zero to do with Slavery since
Slavery has been made unconstitutional and therefore NOT a States Right.
The 14th amendment ended States Rights to discriminate.... so you are
including items in States rights that are actually Federal powers and or
powers prohibited to the States and NO longer States decisions and you
don't even understand that what you attribute to States Rights is all wrong.

the constitution so the position on States RIGHTS also changed, and by
being for States RIGHTS, Republicans were all about States *NOT* having
the right to discriminate or have slavery.... To the point that they
IMPEACHED Andrew Johnson for his failure to promote the RIGHTS of the
slaves that were free. The Federal Government under Democrats like
Woodrow Wilson enacted segregation laws. It was Democrats that passed
laws that made it illegal for blacks to vote.

Passed by Congress June 13, 1866. Ratified July 9, 1868.
Note: Article I, section 2, of the Constitution was modified by section
2 of the 14th amendment.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the
jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State
wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall
abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States;
*nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty*, or
*property*, without due process of law; nor deny to *any person* within
its jurisdiction the *equal protection of the laws*.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor
*prohibited by it to the States*, are reserved to the States
respectively, or to the people."]
"PROHIBITED BY IT TO THE STATES".... So the STATES RIGHTS in amendment
10 reaffirms that slavery is banned from the States jurisdiction. It
is prohibited to the States by the constitution in the 13th amendment.
And it is clear that Slavery is NOT a power delegated to or reserved to
the States.
Why would you be against that? YOU ARE A FOOL.
