Paul Krassner [in _The Realist_ #138],
quoting Tuli Kupferberg about NYC police
and Abner Louima:

"Under detention for resisting arrest, the
handcuffed, unprovoked Louima, while being
kindly escorted to the restroom by two police
officers to answer a call of nature, in a
desperate attempt to escape justice, grabs
ambient toilet plunger and attacks officers.

"In subsequent melee, plunger falls to floor
and is accidentally discharged up detainee's
ass, unfortunately rupturing his colon and
bladder, then ricocheting into his mouth
where it breaks several teeth.

"Stunned officers, overcome with grief,
collapse sobbing on the station-house couch,
thus unconscionably but understandably
delaying medical attention to the detainee
for 2 1/2 hours."

Tuli Kupferberg and Paul Krassner - now there's an unbiased
duo if I ever heard of one. Or should that be "if I ever
heard of two?"

Good story, though. I've liked Paul ever since he wrote
about Lyndon Johnson fucking Kennedy's corpse in the
entrance wound on the plane back from Dallas.

Hey, Fred, I thought you hated New Left refugees!

That's really funny!

No, the best Krassner did was when he and Margo St. James, dressed as
a catholic priest and nun, stunned an airport departure crowd by
making mad passionate love--groping and soul kissing each other until
St. James' plane to the West Coast, boarded and left.

No THAT'S funny.

Fraternally,
