I like to be precise on things. Choice does and does not exist as to the 
issues of gays. They do not have choice as to their sexual preference but 
they do have choice as to how they live with their preference. They can 
choose to be celibate or choose to live like non-gays do with their sexual 
preference.  However I do not necessarily believe it is a reasonable 
expectation that people should choose celibacy. 

We do consciously choose what we do in most instances but not all. Some 
decisions are not conscious decisions. We are not even aware of why we 
made the choice.

I believe SeaNymph had posted some links to some studies regarding this in 
a previous thread where this topic was discussed. Do you have any 
references regarding your stance on choice?
