Maybe you'll also get my sense of humor ... here's one of mine.
Am I different?
If I stand in the snow, Am I different to know?
If I walk down the street ... am I now incomplete?
If I stand on the grass...have I changed from my past?
Am I any less me? I suppose I will see....
If I stand in the shade ... will my sight fade?
Are my eyes still the same? Is my heart even changed?
Does the place that I stand... Make me different, or can ...
the place that I'm at .... effect only that?
How have I changed...when I stand over here?
Am I different to know ... if I stand over there?
Am I the same person.... to know and to love...
if I stood on a roof,,,,or stood on a glove?
I look in a mirror,,,, and see the same me
no matter what place,,,,I stand, I will be...
I'll be the same person,,,if I stood on my head
if I jumped up for joy,,,or cried on my bed.
If I stood on a roof, or danced in the street
or knelt down to pray, or walked with bare feet.
What if I changed just because of the place
or changed just because someone's up in my face?
Would I still be me, or would I be fake
would I be myself, or known as a flake?
If I couldn't remain who I am all the time but
changed just to please someone else on a dime?
I'll stand in the snow,,and know I'm complete,
I'll stand in the grass, and stand in the street.
A place that I stand is mearly just that
I will still be me, where ever I'm at!
