I don't expect a long lost buddy reunion, but it would be great to end
the conflict here. I'm sure everyone who has a history of participation
here would like to see an end to the constant H&D, and a return to
political debate, spice included.

not require submitting that POV to a Pro simply because the opposition

It's a statement of my opinion. Here's what I don't think is helpful
and that's jenn blaming myself and Aardvark for every problem in this
group, all while she's stating her belief that insulting people is just
fine. What also isn't helpful, imo, is you telling a new poster that
Dustin is this and that. Letting people make up their own minds seems a
better way to go, instead of spreading more H&D.

Well, generally when one makes an accusation against someone, it's
customary to accompany the accusation with some supporting evidence.
Apart from anything else, it's only fair on the accused.

> He lives in my dungeon, so looking for his slime will be difficult
> because he doesn't appear on my reader.

So you're saying he has 'slimed' someone, not you, but you haven't
actually *seen* this sliming? That suggests two things to me- once again,
you're trying to fight some other poster's battle despite it being none
of your business, and you're trying to fight that someone else's battle
on absolutely no evidence that he actually did any wrong.

> We both know the slimy shit he has said

Speak for yourself. I've never known him to slime anyone.

> to not only me,

*Now* we're getting somewhere. Please cite this alleged slime.

> but several
> people here and elsewhere,

Not your problem or mine. You're talking about other people's problems.
They aren't yours to fix.

> so give me a break, ok?

As soon as you provide some evidence of your allegation. Be fair, so that
he has at least a chance to refute it.

Aardvarkm I believe it was an Irish man who said..... "All tyranny needs
to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

If he was right then it means it is our business what other people do.
Just saying! :)

Good.

Why should you do that?

Do they contain any insults to you?

Unless you are one of those two people, no.

Unless that poster is you, no.

If they contain insults of you, of course.

> This could turn into a flame war you know. Is that what you want?

You've accused Dustin of sliming and lying about you. What I want, what
is required for fairness' sake, in order that Dustin may refute, is
evidence of these things.

'Fraid not.

He simply voiced his opinion that you can't be trusted. I see no slime or
insult on you in that post. That post is evidence of nothing more than
that he holds that opinion. Hell, there are those here whose opinion of
me is exactly the same. I don't consider that an insult because their
opinions are of no importance to me. Why is Dustin's opinion of you so
important to you?

I do. That's what matters.

It isn't. You make noise when someone speaks ill of you here, so do you
have a double standard?
I don't say squat about the kid, so his words are of a teenage punk
needing a good punch in the snot locker.

Well it might help matters if you point out where the slime you perceive
resides within the post.

Could've fooled me.

Nope. I have no problem with anyone voicing their opinion of me. I
certainly have a problem when I'm lied about, as you well know.

Simply because he doesn't trust you? That's just a bit overkill, don't
you think?

There you go again. I bring up specific points, you ignore every one of
them and start talking about Dustin.

You really want to go down that path? I've got more lies, slime and
insults from you, jax, bd and jenn to go head to head with you for a
long damn time.

I know that you and jenn believe in free speech, as long as it applies
to the 2 of you and no one else. You both cry and whine when people
express opinions, you demand respect but you don't give it, jenn is
exactly the same. Frankly, I believe the 2 of you couldn't possibly act
more childish than you do now.

Works for me. The psilocybin is a bit much for my brain, I get visions
of crows dancing and singing, and it freaks me out.
