Perhaps you read too much into posts, Ron.

It may help you to *start* a new thread or two, Ron (just as you have

USENET wasn't designed to be a quick back and forth communication
forum. Some servers only posted articles once a day - not like now
where it is comparable in speed to a chat room. I guess progress isn't
always a good thing.

I don't know why, but this place is addicting. I was calm and collected
while on vacation from this place, and even posted in annex some. I
just had to come back for a dose of abuse. 8-o

It's not my job to make things better for other people. If they can't
clean up their own house, that's not my problem or my concern. I have
tried, many times, to soothe things over in here but nobody controls
what others do. And why are you blaming me for what other people do, I
don’t control anybody or how anyone posts? I thought you had proclaimed
yourself fair and impartial, seems that’s not the case after all.
>

No, she isn't. But she is not the single cause of a group wide problem,
no one is. It’s a collection of posters and posts. Jenn is simply
another contributor.

>

If your goal is be as negative as possible, you've succeeded. I don't
need to trust someone or be friends with them to have a civil
conversation. Fact is, jenn and I share some interests, and we
attempted to have a civil conversation which was ruined by others. I
don't hold grudges and have no objection to conversation with most
people, as long as they don't attempt to control how or what I post.

Do whatever you want. But if you think that statement is the answer,
you're wrong because that statement ignores all the other things going
on in here.

That's a damn lie. After many attempts to get you to leave the H&D out
of this place, and have it thrown back in my face, you have the nerve

Well, you're free to hold that opinion, I'll just differ. I disagree
with your last statement because I have no problem ignoring you. The
true peace, imo, has to come with a reckoning for those who have never
stopped the lies and the slime, those who attack without provocation and
I don't believe that either of those posters is you or I. In fact, I
believe that currently, there are 3 of them and one of them doesn't post
much any more. Please do not assume that you are aware of the posters
I'm referring to.

I don't like your filthy mouth and the things you post about me or
others, for that matter. That statement has nothing to do with what
anyone else does or says. I can't control what people post, I can only
control what I post, so my choice is to respond or ignore. I think the
simplest thing is to ignore. As I've said, I can converse civilly with
almost anyone, as long as they don't tell me what I can or cannot post.

You speak about respect often but frankly, I don't see you giving any.
Respect is earned, or at least that's what I believe.

I take offense at you assuming that you have any idea what I think about
anything. This is exactly the sort of thing that truly precludes any
peace from you, imo. If you don't like what I say, you don't have to
read or respond and you most assuredly don't have to post that sort of
rhetoric which has no constructive value.

And yet you continue to post with Me? you have a very odd way of
ignoring people.

The true peace,
> imo, has to come with a reckoning for those who have never stopped the lies

Your biased opinion, nothing more.

In fact, I believe that currently,
> there are 3 of them and one of them doesn't post much any more. Please do
> not assume that you are aware of the posters I'm referring to.

Are you trying to hide them? I know of several posters who have moved
on because of the bickering and fighting here, and that includes Me,
you, chav boi, Jenn, BD, karasite, oldus fartus, ron. Some of my annex
friends came here, took a look, and went elsewhere with a 'hell no'
comment to me. We do have quite a reputation all across usenet and
places like facebook. I won't say where I hang out anymore because of
the reputation this place reeks of.

> I don't like your filthy mouth and the things you post about me or others,
> for that matter.

And I don't like how you ignore the filth from your pal chav boi, and
what the karrasite says [among other in your clique] and how you make
lite of your fellow Women being insulted with that very same filth you
complain about from me, while bitching about how I conduct myself here.

That statement has nothing to do with what anyone else does
> or says. I can't control what people post, I can only control what I post,

That's a cop out BIG time. You have no problem whining about how I
treat you, but accept the very same kind of treatment from chav boi
with a smile and a grin. It makes me want to throw up.

I think the simplest thing is to
> ignore.

And yet you complain about Jenn ignoring people? Very hypocritical,
seanymph.

As I've said, I can converse civilly with almost anyone, as long as
> they don't tell me what I can or cannot post.

Then do it. Stop bitching about BD or Jenn, or Me, and stop hiding your
head in the sand when chav boi makes a fool of himself here.

> You speak about respect often but frankly, I don't see you giving any.

George and I had a discussion about this, and you commented on it,
although saying nothing, or prolly not reading] about my post with him.
I treat people as I am treated, and have so since boyhood. You'll never
see me making unfriendly comments to people I've not met or talked with
beforehand, except where a freshly insults without provocation.
Yep, respect is indeed earned, so if you want respect, give it. That
includes you, seanymph. You make disparaging comments, expect the same
in return.
I hope we don't have to carry on with this line of you said I said,
it's old news and I for one have many logs on the fire so time is
scarce for me.
Are we done, or do we need to carry on with this, seanymph?

BULLSHIT.
We got on fine until you were rude to Jenn, and that's when I fed your
rudeness back to you. You couldn't handle what you give, so you
ploinked me and made a fuss about doing so.
I made several attempts at mending that rift between us, always using
your chosen nym of Aardvark while you continued using 'monkey-boi'.
You are a rock headed, meatheaded, chav with no respect for anyone
other than yourself, and you just hate it when I call you on your
fucked up behavior. Despite what you say, your foul language is NOT
Acceptable in civilized groups such as this. Only a low brow uneducated
knuckledragger such as you use that kind of language. Even the asshole
ron doesn't use such language in groups with Women present! In my clan,
I would be de-gloved should I treat Women like you do.
Fuck your three weeks of mistreatment, you deserved every second of it.
Now, go away, you knucklehead chav, and drink your ass to death.

Was I in *any* way rude or combative to *you* before or during that three
weeks you saw fit to begin insulting and attacking me, monkey-boi? Of
course not. I had done absolutely *nothing* to you to cause your
*unprovoked* attacks.

It's completely relevant. Just because you had me blocked doesn't mean
you are off the scope of being treated like you treat people.

Nope. Not in the least, monkey-boi.

Why the fuck should I give a shit how a poster I relate well to relates
to other posters, no matter how I happen to get on with those other
posters? For instance, I get on well with G. Morgan, and he gets on well
with posters I can't stand. The two are unconnected. As long as he and I
get on, why should I care about who else he does or doesn't get on with?

Either address what you do or not, but bringing up other posters is not
conducive to an actual discussion. I don't control anyone, and you are
responsible for what you do.

Throw up all you want. Better yet, go back and read some of the hate
and slime and lies that jax has posted and then tell me she doesn't
deserve every bit of contempt she gets. She has lied about people, she
tried to get others to provide my personal information to her, legally

I don't ignore people and continue to insult them. I consider that
extremely cowardly, childish and offensive behavior. I don’t post to
have fun at someone else’s expense. That’s pretty low in my book.

What anyone else does is not my issue. I don't know how many times I
have to tell you that before it sinks in. You don't address the issues
I raise, you just keep bringing others up.

You came in here after being gone for some time and all you did was
insult me in the worst possible manner you could. You insulted me, as a
person and as a woman, with your filthy posts, filled with the rudest
and crudest crap you could come up with. You have a lot of nerve telling
me how to act when you are unwilling to do the same. Fact is, you are
either the bigger person and stop playing that silly game of "you did so
will I", or not. The notion that you treat someone as you were treated
is ludicrous, imo. Nobody was even talking to you, yet all you did was
insult myself and others. And yet you still somehow expect people to
treat you with respect?

I don't attack others for what they do. I may point out the wrongness
of their statements, but I don't insult and attack in someone else's
name. I'm able to fight my own battles if need be. Jenn always says
she can do the same, yet this sort of stuff tends to make that statement
a lie. Look, it's well known that she went to BD and got him to attack
me for her. BD's admitted to that.

People need to fight their own battles, support their own opinions and
beliefs and not incite others to do it for them. I believe that if
people are incapable of that, this isn't the place for them.

I really dislike this penchant of yours to blame others for what you do.
Personally, I find it ridiculous. As a rule, I try very hard not to
tell others what to do. I try to suggest, or I express my opinion
concerning an issue. I'm not always successful, but I do try. You,
OTOH, tend to blame others for what you do. The truth is, what I do has
nothing to do with what you have chosen to do. That "tit for tat"
mindset is silly and counter productive, imo.

So, the next time I actually tell you to do something, please point it
out and I'll try not to do it again because I believe that's the correct
thing to do.

How different we are! I *love* to get to know people - both in here and
in RL.

Tell me - do you have an IFA to advise you and your other half? Does
that IFA not ask deep and searching questions in order to give you the
very best advice? You may call them by another name.

Asking questions was what I was trained to do. I was considered to be
very good at what I did, SeaNymph. One of the star sales folk, in fact!
Can you recall for which American company I worked? Do you recall how
many of my colleagues were killed in the Twin Towers disaster?

**

Independent Financial Advisers or IFAs are professionals who offer
independent advice on financial matters to their clients and recommend
suitable financial products from the whole of the market. The term was
developed to reflect a UK regulatory position and has a specific UK
meaning, although it has been adopted in other parts of the world, such
as Hong Kong.

The term "Independent Financial Adviser" was coined to describe the
advisers working independently for their clients rather than
representing an insurance company, bank or bancassurer. At the time
(1988) the UK government was introducing the polarisation regime which
forced advisers to either be tied to a single insurer or product
provider or to be an independent practitioner. The term is commonly used
in the United Kingdom where IFAs are regulated by the Financial Services
Authority (FSA) and must meet strict qualification and competence
requirements.

Typically an Independent Financial Adviser will conduct a detailed
survey of their client’s financial position, preferences and objectives;
this is sometimes known as a ‘factfind’. They will then advise
appropriate action to meet the client's objectives; and if necessary
recommend a suitable financial product to match the client’s needs.

Individuals and businesses consult IFAs on many matters including
investment, retirement planning, insurance, protection and mortgages (or
other loans). IFAs also advise on some tax and legal matters.

It's sad that SN is unable to recognise the relevance of these things.

It is SeaNymph who avoids the truth. I have no real idea why - yet!

I wonder if her neighbours will be making enquiries about her soon. The
folk living in her house *could* be up to no good. Best to check, eh?
