This decision announced today is proving that Obama is out of touch with
Mainstream America. He does not have a feel for how natural born Americans
feel.
Attorney General Eric Holder announced Friday that Khalid Sheik Mohammed and
the four others accused of orchestrating the attacks that killed 2,973
people on Sept. 11, 2001, will now be tried in a courtroom down the street
from the where the twin towers fell.

WTF are you talking about, kookshit? Didn't you know about the 9/11
attacks? They happened in NY. There is no better place for the trial
than wher it happened.

THANK YOU, PRESIDENT OBAMA, for bringing the terrorists' asses to the
bar of justice, unlike AWOL Bush and 5-Deferment Cheeeeeney.

I like Military justice. Do they still have the firing squad? If they
are found guilty, are they going to get life instead of a firing
squad-...death?

The first thing any third year law student would say is "your honor,
it's impossible for my defendant to have a fair trial in this city.
He's far too famous and hated. I call for a change in venue."

The SECOND thing any third year law student would say is "your honor,
it's impossible for my defendant to have a fair trial in this
country. He's far too famous and hated. I call for a dismissal."
I'm not sure on what grounds the judge would deny the dismissal.

Even if the trial were to happen, there's no place for it to go but an
attack on George W. Bush and the Iraq War. It's also possible that he
could win, and be let free. Yes, the most liberal 13% of the country
would have a Viagra four hour boner, but it convince future terrorists
that the country is weak, and invite dozens more Fort Hood style
attacks.

The Obama administration, trading American lives for short term
political gain.

Immaterial anyway. It is better that this is handled in criminal
courts, as Clinton did with effectiveness before AWOL screwed the
pooch by invading countries. If it is COV'd to Kansas City, so what.

So you're stupid?

It is, of course, a cinch to get a fair trial. Terry Nichols, an OKC
bombing conspirator, was tried in Oklahoma state court after his
federal conviction in a COV court in Denver. The jury spared his life.

Are you terminally stupid?

We are in the throes of the Bush GOP Recesssion. We never called Obama
the Messiah, YOU kooks did; do you expect he can clean up ALL your
messes in nine months? Get a clue -- you and your ilk fucked up
monumentally and it's gonna take maybe all of Obama's two terms to

On what grounds? The terrorists would absolutely have a point. "Your
honor, if these men were American gangsters, or serial murderers, or
drug dealers who killed millions by selling narcotics to children, you
wouldn't think twice about ordering a change of venue. But because
the defendants are Muslim who have done nothing but follow the orders
of Islam, suddenly the laws by which you pretend to have sworn
alliance simply no longer apply?"

And then there's the process of discovery,

Yeah, about that.

When Clinton decides that terrorists were no worse than a drunk guy
who breaks into a 7/11 through the roof top, America suffered
terrorist attack after terrorist attack. After 9/11, when Bush
started throwing their sorry asses in Gitmo, Islamic terrorist attacks
on America were reduced to zero. Nada. Zip. Bupkis. Within months
of Obama announcing that he's going back to the criminal system. we
has an US Army base shot up.

the man. Of course, unlike my client, Mr. Nichols never had a

is no question that American is a deeply racist nation which openly
loathes Muslims - which is proven by any casual listening to FOX News

In and of itself, intelligence is no more a virtue than beauty, the

When the Democrats took over both houses in 2006, unemployment was
4.6%. After less that three years of the Democrats controlling five
of the six Executive/Legislative branches, unemployment has
skyrocketed to 10.2%.

The last all Republic Budget was the fiscal year 2007 budget. That
means it was passed by a Republican Congress And Signed by a

Now the 100% Democrat OCTOBER budget deficit is 10% larger than what

Gallup: Most Americans Oppose Government Health Care
November 13, 2009 by

The debate over health care reform seems to have had a curious effect
on peoples' attitude toward government health care. Gallup has found
that a majority now does not agree that it is a government
responsibility to provide health care coverage.

The Gallup Poll found that 50 percent disagreed that the government

remarkable shift in attitude among the American people. As recently as

Republicans may be able to use the current health care debate to their

reform effort.

Bzzzzztttt! Wrong. Puh-lenty of such trials have taken place in the
districts where they occurred. You’re getting desperate, kook; you’re

Wrong. They ended. Clinton solved it. Al Qaeda did not attack our

went off to pretend to be cutting brush in Crawford.

Our interests were attacked around the world, more than under
Clionton, because AWOL was giving al Qaeda exactly what they wanted –
a war with the infidels. AWOL played right into UBL’s hands. Now he’s
got TENS OF THOUSANDS more followers than if we had sent in teams to
assassinate him or if we had grabbed his ass and hauled him back for
trial. He’da been a big NOTHING if that had happened.

You don’t get it. UBL isn’t afraid of Bush and his war… UBL WANTS the
war. AWOL gave it to him.

Ity is, of course, not even in dispute. Go to OKC and try to organize
a Terry Nichols Pen Pal Club, see what happens. He was put on trial in
Oklahoma state court.

You bring up the very reason Obama is bringing KSM into federal court.
The torture will be off limits. Defense won’t be able to bring it up.
DOJ is not relying on any information gleaned from the pointless
torture of KSM. Once again Obama is riding to Bush’s rescue by

That’s a lie of course. Blatant lie. That’s all you and your ilk have

It is, of course. Bush and the Iraq War are completely irrelevant to

Sure, there was Timothey McVeigh - oh wait, he got his case
transferred from Oklahoma City to the U.S. District Court in Denver,
Colorado presided over by U.S. District Judge Richard Matsch.

Howzabot Virginia of Beltway sniper attacks defendants Lee Boyd Malvo
and John Allen Muhammad? Nope, their trial was moved more than 100
miles distant in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach in the far southeastern
edge of Virginia.

The four Los Angeles police officers (LAPD) in the Rodney King
incident? And then there's Amadou Diallo murder case in which the
NYPD defendants' trial was moved to Albany.

.
> >  But because the defendants are Muslim who have done nothing but follow the orders of Islam, suddenly the laws by which you pretend to have sworn alliance simply no longer apply?"

.
Yeah, here's the problem. You're not really a judge. Someone else
makes that decision, and he'll have to explain why a NYPD cop was
given this cutesy, but KSM wasn't.

.

So this information will provide a treasure trove of intelligence for

1993
Feb. 26, New York City: bomb exploded in basement garage of World
Trade Center, killing 6 and injuring at least 1,040 others. In 1995,
militant Islamist Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and 9 others were convicted
of conspiracy charges, and in 1998, Ramzi Yousef, believed to have
been the mastermind, was convicted of the bombing. Al-Qaeda
involvement is suspected.

1995
April 19, Oklahoma City: car bomb exploded outside federal office
building, collapsing wall and floors. 168 people were killed,
including 19 children and 1 person who died in rescue effort. Over 220
buildings sustained damage. Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols later
convicted in the antigovernment plot to avenge the Branch Davidian
standoff in Waco, Tex., exactly 2 years earlier. (See Miscellaneous
Disasters.)

Nov. 13, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: car bomb exploded at U.S. military
headquarters, killing 5 U.S. military servicemen.

1996
June 25, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia: truck bomb exploded outside Khobar
Towers military complex, killing 19 American servicemen and injuring
hundreds of others. 13 Saudis and a Lebanese, all alleged members of
Islamic militant group Hezbollah, were indicted on charges relating to
the attack in June 2001.
1998

Aug. 7, Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: truck bombs
exploded almost simultaneously near 2 U.S. embassies, killing 224 (213
in Kenya and 11 in Tanzania) and injuring about 4,500. 4 men connected
with al-Qaeda 2 of whom had received training at al-Qaeda camps inside
Afghanistan, were convicted of the killings in May 2001 and later
sentenced to life in prison. A federal grand jury had indicted 22 men
in connection with the attacks, including Saudi dissident Osama bin
Laden, who remained at large.

2000
Oct. 12, Aden, Yemen: U.S. Navy destroyer USS Cole heavily damaged
when a small boat loaded with explosives blew up alongside it. 17
sailors killed. Linked to Osama bin Laden, or members of al-Qaeda
terrorist network.

So, the best response to terrorism is to do nothing, and hope we don't

Fort Hood slaughter to happen.

You don't get it. UBL isn't a peaceable fellow who just wants
respect. He wants to destroy Western Civilization. Period. He isn't
swayed by kind behavior - he's openly contempous of it.

""The American government is leading the country towards hell. ... We
say to the Americans as people and to American mothers, if they
cherish their lives and if they cherish their sons, they must elect an
American patriotic government that caters to their interests not the
interests of the Jews. If the present injustice continues with the
wave of national consciousness, it will inevitably move the battle to
American soil, just as Ramzi Yousef and others have done."

He did nothing of the sort. Your buddy was openly contemptuous of

Why do you think that Timothey McVeigh was constantly referred to as
the ALLEGED bomber? Because if he was called a bomber, his lawyers
would immediately demand a dismissal. This almost happened during the
Charlie Manson trail, when Richard Nixon accidentally called Chuck a
murderer. While in the witness box, unknown to his lawyer, Manson
flashed a newspaper headline to the jury. Even though Manson
introduced in information, the case was very close to being
dismissed. The judge was forced to take each juror into him private
chambers, and was personally assured that the headline didn't
influence their opinion of the case.

Holder's Black Panther Stonewall
Why did the Justice Department dismiss such a clear case of voter
intimidation?
By JOHN FUND

President Obama's Justice Department continues to stonewall inquiries
about why it dropped a voter intimidation case against the New Black
Panther Party.

The episode—which Bartle Bull, a former civil rights lawyer and
publisher of the left-wing Village Voice, calls "the most blatant form
of voter intimidation I've ever seen"—began on Election Day 2008. Mr.
Bull and others witnessed two Black Panthers in paramilitary garb at a
polling place near downtown Philadelphia. (Some of this behavior is on
YouTube.)

One of them, they say, brandished a nightstick at the entrance and
pointed it at voters and both made racial threats. Mr. Bull says he
heard one yell "You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker!"

In the first week of January, the Justice Department filed a civil
lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party and three of its members,
saying they violated the 1965 Voting Rights Act by scaring voters with
the weapon, uniforms and racial slurs. In March, Mr. Bull submitted an
affidavit at Justice's request to support its lawsuit.

When none of the defendants filed any response to the complaint or
appeared in federal district court in Philadelphia to answer the suit,
it appeared almost certain Justice would have prevailed by default.
Instead, the department in May suddenly allowed the party and two of
the three defendants to walk away. Against the third defendant,
Minister King Samir Shabazz, it sought only an injunction barring him
from displaying a weapon within 100 feet of a Philadelphia polling
place for the next three years—action that's already illegal under
existing law.

American lives for no other reason to get a few last licks on George
Bush.

When the Democrats took over both houses in 2006, the unemployment
rate was 4.6% - after nearly three years of the Democrats controlling

five of the six Executive/Legislative branches, unemployment has

skyrocketed to 10.2%. The last budget passed by the Republican House
and Senate, and signed by Bush, had a deficit of 187 billion dollars.
Obama and Pelosi spent more than that last month alone. For eight
years, Bush kept this country safe from terrorist attack - now Obama
allowed 51 American soldiers to be shot on US soil. And what's the
excuse the Dems are offering? "It doesn't count because, er, he's
like a post man who snapped." Yeah, a postman who screamed Allau
Akbar while he shot the face of a 21 year old woman who was three
months pregnant, and who openly talked about the virtues of Jihad for
years.

Empanelling an impartial jury that can render a fair verdict. Your
hyperbole aside, it can be done.

Why are you tightie righties so a-scared of putting terrorists on
trial? This is just so funny to watch your side implode in the face of
a true American president following the law and resolutely doing the
right thing. You are all-outrage, all-the-time.

All immaterial of course. Naming a few examples of trials that have
been moved doesn’t demonstrate your case at all. No one says no trial
has ever been moved. And so what if this one eventually is? So what?
Obama’s decision is ipso facto the correct one. Move the trial to
Cheyenne, Wyo., or Tallahassee or Lansing, I don’t care. It’s the
*holding* of the trial that matters. To initiate the process, however,
NYC is selected. So what?

Here’s the problem; you have no understanding of court procedure and
precedent. There are ways to empanel an impartial jury. You seem to
think juries need to be composed of dopes who never heard about the
crime or the arrests.

No no no, my stupid friend.

The key is can you render a fair verdict based only on the evidence
presented at trial, whether you’ve read about the case or not. That is
the test, not whether you’re a hermit.

Thank you for highlighting Clinton’s effective response to that act of
terrorism. Bush should have followed it instead of launching two wars
and creating exponentially more Muslims who want us dead who
previously didn’t care until we killed their wives and children in
collateral damage.

Yemen is not in the US, fool.

And I seem to recall Clinton’s people turning the investigation over
to Bush’s at the change in administrations and Bush shitcanning it and
going on vacation.

Wrong. Bush was shitcanning any advice the outgoing Clinton people
gave him. He simply didn’t care. His platform called for strip-mining
the middle class of America and finishing off the destruction Reagan
started. 9/11 came as a big surprise to him.

NO further Islamic terror attacks on US soil! Thank you, President
Clinton! UBL waited until Bush was asleep at the wheel to carry out
9/11 – even though Bush had been warned of it.

WRT you list of terror attacks outside the US, are you such a morn as
to think there have not been hundreds of them since Bush as well?

You show the level of your desperation to defend your incompetent
hero.

False. Exponentially more – hundreds -- occurred during Bush’s war.
You are exercising selective stupidity. Being blind to the hundreds of
terror attacks, in Iraq and around the globe, during the Bush years is
simply breathtaking stupidity on your part.

There have not been any since Obama took office.

He did not, of course. He left. He refused to take his physical. He

the TANG so he would not have to go to Vietnam. He went AWOL.

I think you mean Bush, who we know was constantly drunk, high and
abusing cocaine.

Who said that, kookshit? I said, send in small teams to hunt him down
and assassinate his ass. Learn to read.

Instead, Bush invades a country that had nothing to do with it,
creates tens of thousands more future terrorists by killing civilians
in a pointless war.

You fuckin’ moron, Hasan is a nutcase who slipped through when Bush

and occupation that has endangered us, not protected us.

That’s why I said kill him.

But your hero Bush says he doesn’t care for him and wasn’t looking for
him.

Instead he invades a country that had not attacked us and was not a
threat, and becomes UBL’s recruiting poster.

Stupid stupid stupid.

Kill UBL. Problem solved. Invade Iraq, create 10,000,000 more
potential UBLs.

So why didn’t Bush kill him? Why didn’t Bush keep looking for him? Why
invade Iraq and take resources away from the hunt for UBL? There might
be more to this than just the stupidity it displays.

Having sympathy for terrorists, dearie, does not make his attack a
terrorist act. You are hyperbolizing. I understand… lies is all your
side has. But this was not a terrorist attack. He acted alone. Terror
attacks have organizations behind them. There is no connection. Sorry.

You might be confusing a motion for a mistrial with dismissal of the
case and charges. That’s a ludicrous mistake.

This happened in the McVeigh trial. A juror made a remark to fellow
jurors indicating pre-conceptions of guilt. The trial went on.

More than are granted.

So did Nichols, kookshit. Nichols’ federal trial was in Denver too.
His state trial was in Oklahoma. The state tried him after the feds
failed to get the death penalty. The OK jury also spared his life. So
much for pretrial publicity!

policy of torture. See how it could have damaged the case? Stupid
stupid stupid Bush!

Wow, paranoid much?

The trial is about convicting KSM and achieving justice for the
victims of 9/11, something Bush/Cheeeeneey could never do.

You are a kook.

You are a scared little kook.

Patriotic Americans WANT this criminal tried and convicted in a court

funny that your weasel coward traitor redopicans are opposed to that.

Bush failed to keep American soil “safe,” dearie. He failed in a
manner so exponentially worse than any previous US president since the
British invasion in the War of 1812.

9/11 is not a gimme, a mulligan. It counts.

Fort Hood is not an act of terrorism. It was a Luby’s Cafeteria, a
Virginia Tech. It was not al Qaeda, it was a lone nut. Americans know
this and all the phony manufactured rage of the loony right only makes
you morons look like, well, the liars that you are. A lone nut, I
might add, who should have been dealt with under the Bush
administration when his anti-American writings and presentations came

anything and circular-filed it.

Proof is in the pudding, nitwit. You called DOJ’s decision to drop a
case as “reversing the conviction.” This is of course not only false,
but betrays a fundamental ignorance of terminology. A prosecutor
cannot reverse a conviction. A court of appeals can do that. A trial
judge can toss out a conviction. But a prosecutor cannot.

That’s funny. He sure took the opposite view when it wasn’t a
Democratic administration calling the shots, but a republican one. Why
is that? Oh, a flip-flopper, ya think, based solely on that famous
“manufactured all-outrage, all-the-time” phenomenon? Guiliani not
only hailed the Moussaoui trial but said he was in “awe” of our
justice system that showed the world we can give fair trials to
terrorists who attack us.

In fact, Guiliani TESTIFIED at that trial, held in Alexandria, across
the Potomac from the Capitol dome.

Good then (under Bush), bad now (under Obama).

Screw you asswipes and your blatant politicization of EVERYTHING in
the name of your politics of personal destruction. You are traitorous
whores to our Constitution and all that is America.

Now note, the CURRENT mayor of NYC says this is the right and proper
decision.

“New York City Mayor Bloomberg has taken a different stance. “It is
fitting that 9/11 suspects face justice near the World Trade Center
site where so many New Yorkers were murdered,” Bloomberg said in a
Nov. 13 statement.

“When I spoke to Attorney General Holder earlier today, I told him New
York City stands ready to assist the federal court in the
administration of justice in any way necessary,” Bloomberg said.”

A necessary thing to combat the Bush/GOP Recession. Even your hero

depression. You morons fucked up the country big time and this is what
has to be done to fix things.

WHAT!!!??? Have you not heard of 9/11??? We were ATTACKED by Muslin
terrorists in NYC and DC. Nearly 3,000 people DIED. Bush most
definitely did NOT keep us safe! This was the LARGEST terrorist attack
ever on US soil. You must be on drugs. If THAT is what you call
keeping us safe, you are truly the mist ineffective apologist for the
incompetent AWOL regime.

You also forget the anthrax attacks that have never been solved.

Holy crap, you’re stupid. Obama allowed this? Did his NSA give him a
PDB saying “Hasan Determined to Attack Within Fort Hood?” A lone act
by a psychotic gunman? Who, BY THE WAY, came to the attention of
military and intel authorities DURING THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION for his
writings and views and he was ignored.

So by your standard, Bush allowed the Virginia Tech killings. And the
Beltway Sniper Attacks

You are right, he had been talking about it for years… why didn’t your
heeee-ro Bush not do anything about it when it was brought to light
during his administration? FAIL.

If he had been talking about it FOR YEARS then bush failed to keep us
safe because he did nothing about it.

A lone nut shouting “God is great” opening fire does not make a
terrorist attack. You fail to understand terrorism. You fail to
understand anything, kook.
