Trump Tower glass falls into intersection
The area of Bay and Adelaide Sts. is closed after large pieces of glass
fell more than 30 storeys from the Trump Tower around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say no injuries have been reported but some vehicles have been
damaged.
A spokesperson for the Trump Tower told the Star that a glass panel fell
from the 34th floor during construction work. The Trump International
Hotel & Tower Toronto has 65 floors.
"The panel appears to have been dropped by a worker during
installation,"said Dorenda McNeil. "This incident is not related to the
structure of the building.
"We are very thankful that no one was hurt."
