Why do Democrats hate Jews?

Why have Democrats become anti-Semitic? Why are Democratic politicians not supporting Israel in its
current effort against the terrorists? Why are liberal news media stations and papers reporting the
current middle east crisis with an anti-Israel bias? Why are high profile liberal university
professors and other liberal groups speaking out against Israel with remarks full of anger and hate?
Why are they publically giving verbal support to the terrorists and to those who support the
terrorists?

They aren't. Why would you claim that they are?

> Why are Democratic politicians not supporting Israel in its current effort
> against the terrorists?

They are. Why would you claim otherwise?

And when did Israel become a religion?

Explain.

--
George W. Bush has made the terrorists stronger, their influence wider,
their numbers larger, and their motivation to attack the U.S. and other
western interests greater. He has repeatedly abused his authority and
violated his Oath of Office by turning his back on the United States
Constitution; thereby surrendering to the terrorists by underminig American
freedoms, values, and the very foundations of our system of government.
Supporting Bush is treason.

ISRAEL HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF

LEBANON'S REFUGEES GROWING TO 1,000,000

Whenever anyone dares to criticize Israel they're automatically
branded Anti-Jew or Anti-Semite; that's a ploy to discredit legitimate
criticism.

I'm so sick and tired of hearing this pat answer "Israel has the right
to defend itself." to anyone who would dare criticize Israel in
overreacting in its defense by destroying Lebanon.

Of course Israel has the right to defend itself but that doesn't give
it the right to destroy a whole country in the process.

When Israel defends itself it's revenge with a vengeance (Collective
Punishment Israel's trademark) contravening the Geneva Convention (War
Crimes committed by Israel)

Anybody can play the blame game. It doesn't matter who started this
war destroying Lebanon for the action of a few won't solve anything
except provoke even more hatred and I might dare add growing support
for Hezbollah not less.

Almost from the beginning, Israel's new war in Lebanon has been
crossing legal and political red lines that will further destabilize
the Middle East.

Already, more than 300 Lebanese civilians have been killed by Israeli
military strikes. With little justification, Israel has bombed densely
populated urban neighborhoods and targeted the Beirut airport, roads
and bridges, ports, and the country's main power plant.

So now not even the Red Cross can deliver Humanitarian Aid to the
newly 500,000 Lebanese Refugees in their own country and counting to
at least a Million soon.

The Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the 1998 Statute of Rome set the
bar for how the world must manage armed conflicts. The most important
priority is the protection of civilians.

Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention absolutely prohibits the
"collective punishment (Israel's Trademark)" of a population for the
deeds of its government or an armed group. Article 147 forbids
"extensive destruction ... not justified by military necessity and
carried out unlawfully and wantonly."

The Rome Statute defines a war crime as, "intentionally directing
attacks against the civilian population or against individual
civilians not taking direct part in hostilities" (Article 8(2)).

Israel, by acting so fiercely and disproportionately, is repeating its
disregard for legal boundaries that characterized its 18-year
occupation in Lebanon that ended in 2000.

Hezbollah, acting as an armed militia beyond the reach of the Lebanese
state, bears its own responsibility for provoking the conflict and for
its decision to retaliate against innocent Israelis.

Hezbollah doesn't represent Lebanon which can't disarm this minority
because it would have reignited a civil war like they've known in the
last one which lasted 15 years.

It's not bias or even complicated. It's simply a matter of right v wrong.
There are plenty of democrats & liberlas who support Israel all the way.
However, the fact is no one or no nation can be right 100% of the time. One
has to have the ability to see the conflict through unbiased eyes. Israel
is not right all the time. America is not right all the time.

The philosophy of Ameica/Israel right or wrong is the epitome of biased
thinking. So, it is you who demonstrates the bias because you can only see
one side of a coin, when there are always two. During the times when you
are wrong, the only mature thing to do is admit you are wrong.

Sadly, for the world at large, neo-conservatives and 100% Israel backers do
not have the mature capacity to admit a mistake. You keep ramming your head
into the same tree and wonder why others do not do the same thing.

No.

I said you do not have the intellect to know the difference between right
and wrong.
You only know what right wing programing tells you.

One other thing, you don't really know what a terrorist is, who the
represent, or why, if your administration is involved in a global war on
terror, the USA has had wide open borders during this so called GWOT. None
of your kind knows what the hell is going on. You only knmow what the
radical right wing tells you.

I could go on about the Afghan/Paki border that bush refuses to police, but
you would not understand.

Interestingly, Republicans and Israelis are like this for different

Depends what you mean by terrorism.

I do support "terrorism" against valid Israeli military targets, of
course. That includes all adult settlers in settlements.

As an American, I can't really support any attacks on US forces. That
said, the Iraqis of course have a right to resist the colonization of
their land, including attacks on US colonial troops. I do support
attacks on the foreign, including US, corporations that are colonizing
Iraq.

I did support the attack on the UN building in Baghdad, because the UN
is now an agent of US imperialism.

I actually support the US - NATO operation in Afghanistan.

I don't support terrorism at all. My answer to his question would

Small 'c' conservatism invariably comes back to this; hard righties never
think anything through to its' ultimate conclusion. They look short-term

VERY GOOD! Do you remember the name of one of the most prominent financiers? I'll give you a hint.
The US Government made a postal stamp in his honor in 1975 calling him the "financial hero" of the
Revolutionary War.

From experience, I can tell you that it is the Liberal professors who have
become virulent anti-Semites. They have sided with the Islamic-fascists
because they see them as the enemies of the US and Israel. The biggest sin
you can commit on campus these days is to defend the existence of the Jewish
state. I made that mistake once and made an enemy of the Afro-American Dean.
It seems nobody hates Jews more than Afro-Americans.
