The Disaster of the Week helps crowd inexpedient political news off
the teevee n00z channelz, like the riot going on at the US Department
of Justice in Washington DC all week by homeowners or ex-homeowners
sick of being preyed upon by the Wall Street mob banks . . . :

These aren't Lefties. They're ordinary people, sick of being preyed
upon. The kind that turned out for OWS, at first, until the usual
Leftie arrogance drove them back off. And they're being tased and
tossed into Department of Homeland Security paddy-wagons for
protesting that.

A very promising development.

i noticed a few years back that stuff that shouldn't be humped to
death on the news is and it replaces real news that should be given to
the people so they are aware of it. i've also noticed that a lot of
the so called news isn't news at all. do they think we are all stupid
and don't realize what they are doing?

It's said that the young smert types are leaving FB in droves for
Twitter now, and as soon as Twitter's deficiencies become clearer
(basically being a single-site, proprietary, US provider) we'll bring
'em all over here.

I do like the brevity imposed.

And also propagandize for Usenet there every time it's appropriate.

You have to build a timeline combining other people's tweets and
retweets, and then you output your tweets and retweets:

I have my timeline of 350+ tweeters built into an excellent news-
gathering and -analysis organization.

Candle, Smee and Bill Cleere are on there too, although Smee's
vanished completely, AFAICT, and Bill's practically offline too.

Candle's a goddam soccer-fan.

Oh, and there's some wimmen tennis-playerz
and femmes electro on there too.

you have it sussed and its working for you. all i have is
untrustworthy news on tv, news papers and the links i get sent by a
friend or two for things that should be in the news and are not.

i'd never have anything to tweet, i struggle coming up with stuff to
post to usenet.

>Candle's a goddam soccer-fan.

he's been watching that football shite for a long long time. i'm
fucked if i can work out why anyone would watch it and not get bored.

Here's the Twitter bluebird from Turkey, where the tear-gas has been
