Chris Christie and liberal hate speech

The governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, is in the news after
admitting to undergo lap band surgery on his stomach to lose weight.

I know nothing about Gov. Christie's politics other than that he is a
Republican (yuk). But unlike other Republicans who liberals criticize
for some policy or other they dislike, the ONLY criticism of Chris
Christie by liberals I ever hear is HIS WEIGHT, even nicknaming him
"Christie Kreme" just as a school bully might nickname a fat kid
"Lardbutt."

What bothers me about this is not just that this is bullying, but the
nasty Democrats insulting him for his weight have co-opted the far-left
"sizeist" movement, which fights discrimination against fat people -- or
"persuns of size" as they demand they be called in the name of political
correctness. This makes liberals not just bullies, but hypocrites.

Of course, any fool can see that the reason liberals attack Chris
Christie so viciously is because he is probably the most qualified (or
rather the least repulsive) Republican candidate in the next presidential
primary. I don't know or care if this is true, I am just observing that
it is LIBERALS who are essentially admitting he is the most qualified/
least repulsive.

Unable to find anything political to attack Christie over, liberals
resort to middle-school bullying, making fun of the fat kid until he
starts crying, then beating him up and taking his lunch money. Such
behavior would be loudly denounced by the same liberals if it were
Republicans making fun of a Democrat persun of size! Hate crime! Hate
crime!

Actually, I happen to agree with the far-left position that it is wrong
to judge or insult people based on their physical appearance. Chris
Christie should not have to change his size to satisfy others, either
conservatives who may openly hate fat people, or liberals who preach
"tolerance" for persuns of size but secretly hate them, too (unless they
are Republicans, in which case openly mocking them is just fine).

Actually, most of the noise came from Faux News, who openly questioned if
he was healthy enough to run for President. Oddly enough, they had no
problem with the heartless cyber-zombie Dick Cheney.

Be sure to mention your concerns to your good buddy Steve, OK?
