You don't tell me what to buy!
No one is going to tell you what to buy. Presently proposed bills do
not in any way force people with private insurance to change anything.
If you've been told otherwise you've been lied to.
Imagine the sleazy back room, corruption and palm greasing that Harry
Reid and gang was involved in the past few days leading up to last
nights vote????
We all know about the $300 million dollar "Louisiana Purchase" that
*somehow* convinced Louisiana senator Mary Landrieu (wink, wink, nudge,
nudge, say no more ;^D ) to vote for allowing the debate to proceed.
It's staggering to imagine the other graft and payouts that we haven't
heard about yet.
BTW - is $300 million the going rate these days to buy a senators vote?
I suspect a really sleazy senator like Roland Burris (D - Illinois)
would hold out for a lot more than a mere $300 million to buy his vote.
It'll be funny after the midterms in 2010 and especially after the 2012
elections to hear liberals whining about "stolen elections" after these
corrupt senators that voted to allow the health care initiative to go
forward are voted out of office with a resounding thud!!!
Of *course* not ;^D <sarcasm off>
After a few years of ObamaCare, as insurance companies folk due to not
being able to compete with Uncle Sam....everyone will be told what to
buy...and their taxes will go through the roof to be able to buy
substandard "health care"....or whatever it will be referred to at that
point.

ROTFLMMFAO!!!!! Hold on to your wallets folks. EVERYONE's taxes are
going to skyrocket due to Obama's health care debacle.

To bad you lose....
You never paid a dime for me and I have had a great life without
insurance, thank you.
Why do I have to pay for Africans health care? Your Logic is breaking
down.... you're concerned that I must pay, but you are happy if the
continent of Africa sends me their bill?
You are defeating your own argument by forcing me to pay for African
health care. Sorry but you are another Liberal/Socialist nut with no
rational basis for your opinions.
Medicare have an administrative overhead of under 2% while private
insurers work with administrative overheads between 35 to over 60%.
This is an inefficient as it can get.
Unless this huge insurance industry oligopoly have a true competitor
they will never ever try to do anything to improve the care for the
money, but just jack premiums and cut benefits.
No public plan in Europe have so much rationalization as the private
insurers in US. Cap limits, uncovered expenses, uncovered
"experimental" procedures (some of them labeled "experimental" despite
the fact they were discovered/invented in 1950s), deductible,
preconditions, copayments, maximum per member/family or lifetime
maximum etc... all these are nothing else but CARE RATIONALIZATION at
it worst, to pump up profits.
And the rationalization decision is taken by a faceless bureaucrat
from insurance company not in order to provide a chance to life to a
sicker man but to give more bonuses to the multi millionaire CEOs.
For almost a whole CENTURY, the private industry had the opportunity
to improve the care in US. They failed over and over and over again a
hundred times. Always they just increased premiums, cut benefits and
overpriced out low wage hard working Americans.
Millions and millions of Americans were forced in bankruptcy or lost
houses due to medical expenses. There in NOT A SINGLE BANKRUPTCY in
all the Western Europe due to medical care. Not a single one.
Nobody has asked for you to pay anything. The government of the United
States does not have the right to dictate that I have health insurance
or to fine me for not having it. Bank on it.
Quit worrying about me. Just worry about you.
Maybe you could get the ACLU to help you out with that.

LMAO
I agree that some of the 60 are pretty slimy. But the lead slime balls
at this point are LIEberman, Baucus, Lincoln, Landriu, and Nelson. And
there's always Harry Reid himself.

Like everybody else, you really have no idea what the final bill is going to look
like. I would be happy to make a wager with you that all the negatives that thinking
people expect will be there....AAC
2: You have the FREEDOM OF CHOICE to buy insurance or not to buy insurance.
Those are the top 2.
