insurance. The questions is where does the money come from, with which
they buy the insurance? The answer is that the money comes from
working. But by American laws, illegal aliens are not allowed to work
in the u.s. legally. If you are allowed to work legally, they would
not be illegal aliens.
If they are permitted to buy the health insurance with their own
money, they must be permitted to work in this country legally, to make
money to buy it. As said, they are not allowed to work legally. The
health care plan legalizes their status, from not allowed to work to
allowed to work.
Thereafter, the health care bill violates American laws.

this is not like car insurance where you are wishing to drive , which is

there are Germans, Italians, wealthy Mexicans, and other tourists who
spend their money in Colorado and contribute to the economy. The
illegal aliens are generally a drain on the counties they live in,
using WIC, food stamps, social services, and ADC. In fact, Rocky
Mountain PBS did a documentary on how the illegal aliens who work in
Aspen, Vail, Copper Mountain, Winter Park and other ski resorts then
commute to their trailer homes in the poorer counties where they
bankrupt the local governments by availing themselves to social
services.

I took my family on vacation on a Carnival Cruise Line a year and half
ago and the ship stopped in Ensenada for a day. We bought stuff, but
when my son twisted his knee and had to go to a Mexican clinic, we had
to provide proof of insurance and pay for the prescription pain killer
with our own credit cards. I didn't attempt to tell the Mexicans that
I bought stuff in Mexico so they needed to pay all my medical costs.
Just because I bought a few items in Mexico didn't make me think that
I was entitled to citizenship or socialized medicine. I expect the
same with Mexicans who illegally live in the U.S.

You miss the point. No law says that illegal aliens cannot purchase
groceries or fuel cars in the U.S. But the law does say that they
cannot work in this country. This is why the ICE agents always raid
work places to arrest them. They don't go to grocery stores to do the
same thing.
The passed bill doesn't say explicitly that the illegals are permitted
to work, but says that they can purchase the insurance with their own
money. They have to work to earn money for buying it. So the bill is
an implicit work permit.
Carrying health insurance will be a must for citizens and legal
residents. Or they will be fined. Is it also a must for illegals? If
yes, they must be permitted to work to earn the money to buy it. If
not, the passed bill would have more problems. It give illegals the
privilege that they have options of buying or not buying the
insurance. But the bill does not offer same options to citizens and
legal residents.

It seems the government does not force illegal aliens to buy health
insurance. They have the freedom of either buying or not buying. But
citizens and legal residents do not have such freedom. They are
obligated to carry one health insurance or another, or must pay a fine
if carrying none.
