Belrose man is facing 114 sex charges

A 56-YEAR-OLD Belrose man is facing 114 charges following an
investigation into more than 200 alleged sexual assault offences against
a boy between 1979 and 1988.
The man was arrested at his home in Devere Ave about 8.30am last
Wednesday and taken to Dee Why Police Station.
He has been charged with 60 counts of sexual intercourse with a male
aged between nine and 16, as well as 54 counts of acts of indecency on a
male under 16 years of age.
He was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court last
Thursday.
Another man, a 60-year-old from Harris Park, was also arrested within
minutes of the Belrose man.
He was charged with 65 counts of sexual intercourse with the male aged
nine to 16 years, 72 counts of acts of indecency, one count of inciting
an act of indecency, two counts of accessory before the fact and one
count of accessory before the fact of homosexual intercourse with the
male.
He too was refused bail.
The arrests follow lengthy investigations by police into alleged sex
offences against a boy between 1979 and 1988.
The alleged offences took place when the boy was aged between nine and
16 years old.
Police also allege that the boy was prostituted out to numerous men,
including those previously accused of child sexual assaults.
The alleged offences were reported to police in 2008.
As a result Strike Force Lighthorse, which comprises detectives from the
State�s Crime Command Sex Crimes Squad, was established to investigate
the alleged incidents.

This anonymous coward posting under the name "Leroy N. Soetoro" is
morbidly obsessed with sex crimes and homosexuality. One of his
favorite things activities is searching the internet for any media
reports of sexual assault, in particular of children involving people
who might be homosexuals. On occasion even though there is nothing to
indicate that the perpetrator of the act is a homosexual, he will post
misleading headers indicating that the perpetrator is a homosexual.
He then posts this cherry picked information as if he is proving
something other than the fact he has a diseased mind.
The above post is an example of this effort on his behalf. Of some
ironic amusement is that during the same time period on the New South
Wale police website [which covers the Sydney and suburbs area] where
he located this arrest report, he ignored numerous reports of
heterosexual males sexually assaulting adult women in their homes, on
the street and in nightclubs; a heterosexual male attempting to kidnap
a 12 year old female child in a super market; a heterosexual male
sexually assaulting a 9 year old girl at a shopping center; a
heterosexual male accosting a 17 year old female in a residence hotel
and attempting to force her to engage in sexual actions; a
heterosexual male sexually assaulting a 15 year girl at a shoppping
center; the attempted sexual assault fo a teenage girl in a library
stairwell not to mention the usual assorted robberies, burglaries and
other crimes one would expect to see in a large urban area over a
period to time.
Now no sexual assault should be treated lightly and any offender, if
found guilty of the act should be punished for engaging in such
activity regardless of the gender of the perpetrator or victim. But
Leroy Soetoro as he calls himself gives prime example of the type of
person whose diseased mind is fascinated with these types of reports
and he spend a good deal of time searching them out on the internet.
One can only wonder at the type of diseased mind this individual has
to motivate him to engage in such activity. Perhaps he should be the
subject of closer scrutiny by the law eforcement agencies in his area
to see if this fascination with sexual assaults on children has
carried over into any sort of actual overt actions on his part.
