Gay "Marriage" Vote Killed in NJ Senate
Same-sex marriage advocates switch focus to Assembly
By Peter J. Smith
TRENTON, New Jersey, December 10, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Homosexual
advocates in New Jersey snatched a same-sex "marriage" bill from the jaws of
defeat on Wednesday, cancelling Thursday's scheduled vote in the state
Senate after realizing that they lacked the votes for the measure's
successful passage.
The bill's Senate sponsors, Sens. Raymond J. Lesniak (D-NJ 20) and Loretta
Weinberg (D-NJ 37) revoked the bill from the Senate's agenda late Wednesday
night, and stated that they wanted the General Assembly to examine the bill
first before the Senate votes.
Democrats firmly control the N.J. Senate by a 23-17 margin, but a number of
Democrats count themselves as opponents of same-sex "marriage." According to
the Philadelphia Inquirer, Sen. Gerald Cardinale (R-NJ 39) said he was aware
of nine Senate Democrats who were intending to vote against the bill and
would have doomed its passage.
The maneuver allows same-sex "marriage" activists to lobby the General
Assembly heavily, where the passage of a homosexual "marriage" bill stands
to have a better chance at passing. Both Sens. Lesniak and Weinberg hope
that the Assembly Judiciary Committee will take up the measure, but that
committee is not scheduled to return to Trenton until January 7.
A delay that long is risky for same-sex "marriage" activists, as it leaves
little more than a week for both state houses to schedule votes before
Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine leaves office on January 19. Corzine has
promised to sign the bill, while his replacement, Gov.-elect Chris Christie,
has promised a veto.
Despite having more potential backers in the Assembly, Democrats show little
enthusiasm for acting on the measure.

Those damn bigots. Nothing could be more important than legalizing gay
marriage. The next thing you know, those bigots will make it illegal
for left-handed people to get married or for niggers to marry.
Those Democrats and Republicans are all bigots. We need a new
egalitarian party, the HOMO party, that puts gay marriage above such
minor nonsense as national defense, balancing the budget, creating jobs,
and congressional junkets.

Being left handed doesn't affect the health of the human species as
far as I can tell.
Neither does being gay. If you are worried about STDs personally, then use
protection or practise abstinence.
Beyond that, I can't see that it is any more of your business than whether

Al's one of those "good loyal Americans" who minds everybody's business but

Of course it does. If any significant percentage of the population

I've got something infinitely better which doesn't exist in the gay
community: monogamy. I could care less what monkey disease gays are
sharing with each other.

When our enemies are doing something wrong we are better off by not
pointing it out to them.
I'll tell you again, I don't care how many of the '49ers are gay. The
Cowboys are going to the playoffs and this January you can make
outlandish claims about how many of the Golden State Warriors you've
had relations with. Just post it to your sports groups and leave the
rest of humanity out of it.

Let's see, an exit poll from the 2008 presidential election is supposed
to serve as evidence of "conservatives being less likely to be poor or a
high school drop out". Let's humor the dumbass and follow the link,
shall we?
Mention of poverty or income level in the exit poll: none.
Claim proof level: 0
High School dropout level: 35% of the voters with no high school
completion voted for McCain and are presumably conservatives. However,
the overall percentage of voters with no high school completion is only
4% of all voters, which, combined with the following breakdown:
35% of 4% are conservatives with no high school = 1.4% overall
46% of 20% are conservatives with high school = 9.2 % overall
47% of 31% are conservatives with some college = 14.6 % overall
45% of 44% are conservatives with high school = 19.8 % overall
63% of 4% are "liberals" with no high school = 2.5% overall
52% of 20% are "liberals" with high school = 10.4 % overall
51% of 31% are "liberals" with some college = 15.8 % overall
53% of 44% are "liberals" with high school = 23.3 % overall
Added together, conservative voters with high school or more = 43.6 %
Added together, liberal voters with high school or more = 49.5 %
Taking into consideration the fact that this election was more heavily
than usual attended by blacks who are hereby assumed "liberal" even
though they tend to be social conservatives as a group (and more likely
to not finish high school than other ethnic groups), and your claims are
as dumbass as ever.
Claim proof level: 0
Yes, you're "right" as usual! LOLZ.

No one, absolutely no one has monogamy. Monogamy is not in the hands of
yourself, but your partner. I knew a dentist that had an affair with
his receptionist for 21 years and then he divorced his wife and married
his receptionist. Think of history. Presidents, priests, politicians,
relatives have had affairs. Do you know how many woman throughout
history have become pregnant through an affair and just gave birth to
the baby as if conception took place by the father. If the divorce rate
is 45 percent
and say 25 percent of all married people are less than enchanted, it
easily means that about 75 of all spouses have had affairs or sex
outside of marriage. And you know the rules is you never tell your
spouse unless you have to, for example, because of an std else the
spouse carries the anger as you carry the guilt until death do they
part.
> >
> >
> > Gays cannot be monogamous?
Lots of homosexuals are monogamous and lots are not. Some homosexuals,
men, like heterosexual men, don't see sex as only being with one person
for a lifetime. So sometimes they have open marriages, sometimes shared
and sometimes private. There are predominately heterosexual fetish
clubs where lots of couples have sex, safe sex, with lots of other
partners in full view and often participation of their spouse. These
people range from early 20s to late 70s.
> Apparently all their campaigning for equal rites in marriage is just a
> 'hobby'.
Well, in Canada the campaign for equal marriage rights has long been
over for homosexuals. Homosexual marriage is old hat. What isn't old
hat is that heterosexuals
have never had to struggle so hard as they do today. Infidelity and
divorce are the least of the heterosexuals worries. It is getting a
good education where their job prospects aren't likely going to be
outsourced. Marry a spouse that is prepared to work during the marriage
often taking jobs so that one spouse works while the other tends to the
kids which means often jobs where dayshift/nightshift are possible.
Affordable housing is a problem because cheap houses are available in
smaller communities but it is the smaller communities that lose their
hospitals, schools and government services and support first as cuts to
budgets happen globally in communities of all sizes. Affordable
vehicles are a challenge especially with half the vehicle companies are
going out of business or dropping support for certain models of
vehicles. Then there is the doubling the cost of raising offspring from
100,000 over 18 years to 200,000 to raise an
offspring for the same 18 years. It used to be that any north American
kid could almost be guaranteed to get into medical or law school or even
good primary and secondary schools like their father, but unless their
offspring has top grades, that is no longer the case because budgets
have necessitated that the universities and private schools have had to
increase student enrolment on a huge scale the increase of very wealthy
foreign students from around the globe to help finance the operation of
the universities and private schools. Day-care in Canada runs at around
50 dollars per child per day which is half the average woman's salary
per day and per month she has two offspring. Often these day-care
workers are foreign speaking and that is one reason they are not in a
higher paying workforce because of their language skills. Add this to
the fact that your child's vocabulary could be limited based on limited
intellectual exposure both in the schools and in the day-care home.
Now, in terms of homosexuals, they usually have good educations, both
work, no children unless they are wealthy, so the circumstances are
entirely different. Wages have stagnated for the last 20 years but
cost of living has gone through the roof globally. This has affected
everyone globally but less so for homosexuals because they are used to
adapting to circumstances culturally since birth whereas heterosexuals
pretty well live a standard of living that has existed for a very long
time and only recently has it been eroded or declined for the average
heterosexual middle class individual.
As far as the homosexuals getting the right of marriage in countries
that don't have it yet, it will happen in the next 10 or 20 years. The
main reason it will happen is that
heterosexual society will learn that the lives of homosexuals and
heterosexuals are different and the burdens of heterosexuals will never
improve while they spend their time and money fighting against the
rights of homosexuals. It financially just isn't worthy the
investment. Just think if the Canadian churches had lobbied for more
protection of the family in terms of day-care benefits and job security
and re-education options from jobs that were outsourced instead of
spending those millions and billions fighting the homosexual's right to
equal rights. Heterosexual society thought that homos were their enemy
and it turned out it was big business wanting to make even more money
keeping the middle class from getting good returns on their savings,
keeping their wages low, destroying their pension options and removing
their medical benefits. Now, 20 years later the world see the results.
