Come one, come all, to vote on the September 2008 Usenet Kook Awards.
We(TINW) have a fair-sized ballot for you, this month, with such
luminaries of usenet.kookery (who are nevertheless largely new to the
awards, with a few exceptions) as Gunner Asch & Jerry the wingnuts of
misc.survivalism, Bob "Patriot Games" Milby (who refuses to admit to the
name, as it happens), Johnny "the Anti-Bushite" Wizard (whose heart is
in the right place, but whose brain reached inter-galactic space years
ago), an anonymous, stalking coward with a vendetta (who attempted to
use AUK to further said vendetta), two more semi-anonymous cowardly
types known as Lil/Cue and GitRDunn/Git_RDunn (among the lamest kooks
evar), Bucky Breeder (the Unafoamer of 24hoursupport.helpdesk), captdan
of alt.autos.mini (if some kind soul could forward this to that group,
it would be highly appreciated), Steve Carroll of comp.sys.mac.advocacy
(for whom everyone is Snit, if they don't acknowledge the TRUTH of his
claims about Snit's lies and sockpuppetry, especially the fact of George
W. Bush's innocence of any and all wrongdoing, ever, unless they can
provide absolute, mathematical proof, beyond any doubt whatsoever, that
said Bush is guilty (and since such proof is necessarily impossible,
that means you either agree with him, or you're Snit)), Gregory "Capt.
Neal" Hall (net.KKKop of alt.sailing.asa), Karen K. Anderson (the k00ky
stalker who sends strange men extremely lewd pictures of her elderly
body with a pink vibrator, when they don't prove to be interested in her
advances, along with pictures of their home), Ray "Kazoo" Karczewski
(who is still going on about Tim Hill and the Government Disinformation
Agents on usenet, after more than a decade), Tim Thorne (more pathetic
than ten Bartlos, honestly), comp.os.linux.advocacy (not that there's a
thing wrong with Linux, but they're clueless and pathetic), some dude
named Sean McCloud (I missed that thread/those threads), Mark Morgan's
fan club on rec.radio.amateur.policy (still freaking out over his role
on the matter of Morse code requirements for ham radio operators),
Agamemnon (the Hellenistic extremist of rec.arts.drwho, whose fr0thing
rants many of you have seen, courtesy of teh Snarky .sigs), chuckcar
(the Supremely Unhelpful, of 24hs.hd -- if you need help with something
computer-related, he's got an answer which will utterly fail to be of
use), Bill "oldcoot"/"Flowing space" Sheppard, Bloxy's return with the
Protocols which make every single person disgusted with Israeli
treatment of Palestinians feel dirty, Gerald "G-Dolf" Newton (the
wife-beating wingnut of alt.culture.alaska, Mr. Blue-Collar of the
political groups), David "Yads" Yadallee (AKA The Doctor) of
rec.arts.drwho (who could turn this paragraph into one or two
incomprehensible lines), Maxwell of rec.aviation.piloting (which he
pollutes with off-topic net.KKKoppery of anyone else's off-topic posts,
especially crossposts), and a highly successful troll of many usenetters
by the FNVW himself.
