.....'Flu victims? There are now around 500 which is almost as many as
the rest of the UK put together.

Could it be that a diet of deep fried everything, drunkenness as the
norm, the highest rate of drug use in the UK, common obesity and a
chronic addiction to living off English taxpayers' money has so weakened
their immune systems that they are peculiarly susceptible? RH

You must have been fully aware that someone with swine flu had died
when you posted this. You're a contemptible piece of scum, Henderson.

More contact with carriers through social interaction. Many of the cases
can be traced back to a bus load of football fans, for example.

Scotland sadly has some of the poorest health in Europe, most obese, most
obese kids, most kids with weight related diabetes, most alcoholics, much
higher than normal numbers of IV drug abusers, most suicides. Nearly all
self inflicted problems. They cost the NHS a fortune but sadly at times
even the NHS can not save some unfortunates.

Despite the death of that lady in Paisley, and irrespective of the terms in
which the OP was written, it's still a valid question, isn't it?

I have to admit that I wondered the same thing (ie, the broad question) about
E Coli. Whenever E Coli is mentioned (which admittedly isn't very often), one
thinks immediately of Scotland. There may be a good answer to that, as there
may be to this one.

That's a very good question, which may point out part of the answer to the
OP. Clearly, there has been a particular local exposure in the Eton/Windsor
area. How would that be applicable in Scotland, though? Has the package
holiday in Cancun become more of a Caledonian institution?

Or the USA. Believe it or not aeroplanes fly from Scotland to the US
and back and Scottish people travel to the USA and to Cancun.

http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Cancun/Scotland/

Local exposure at Eton might result from one person visiting Cancun.
Why do you think it might be different in the West of Scotland? 18
cases arose directly from people travelling on a Rangers supporters
bus (from Dunoon) and the small town of Dunoon alone has had at least
70 cases.

I see there are 354 cases in the (English) West Midlands. How do you
account for this large number (out of an English total of 800)?

Says the English"man" who moved to *cotand at the invitation of the
former
Bishop of Edinburgh.

There is nothing more contempible than one who turns on his own people
and stabs them in the back at every turn.
