Well it's Hogmany in NZ now (we get it first!) and just Hogmany on the
other side of the planet too.
Have a nice new year. Especially the *nglish. I expect you are looking
forward to another year of Scottish oil money coming your way. Well,
it has to stop and stop now! May 2010 be the year for *nglish
independence. We will help you a bit - Gordon can stay on and
"Govan" you for a bit and you can have Tony Blair back. Tell you
what, we'll throw in a few more Westminster MPs too. (Darling will be
looking for a job soon) Good luck and fuck off in 2010 you *ngish
twats.

BTW, I've found an excellent variation on the ice cream recipe - use
honey in place of sugar, and Cointreau in place of Drambuie - LOVELY!

Ah, I see there's more than 1 Christmas Island. The one I refer to (part
of Kiribati) is in the timezone "UTC+14hrs", and is always first into each
new day. In fact, as I type this, they are already celebrating New Year.
NZ still has half an hour to go. Interestingly, Samoa is still in
Wed.30th, so we simultaneously have 3 different calendar dates for a
period of one hour every day. Interesting stuff.

bottles of Glenfriddich, which I promptly poured down the sink!
