Tata Motors global sales rise 6% in October at 1,00,660 units

Tata Motors on Thursday said its global sales increased 6
per cent in October to 1,00,660 units over the same
period last year.
Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 679,051, higher
by 7 per cent, compared to the corresponding period in
2011-12, said a statement from Tata Motors.
Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles — Tata, Tata
Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range were 51,396
units in October 2012, higher by 19 per cent over October
2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at
334,941 units, higher by 4 per cent over October 2011.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles were at
49,264 units in October 2012, lower by 5 per cent.
Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 344,110 units,
higher by 10 per cent.
Global wholesales of Tata passenger vehicles were at
21,367 units, for the month, lower by 17 per cent, over
October 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were
flat at 155,319 units
