Obama--A Closer Look!

that the oldest of the two, once Major mainstream American political
parties, the Democratic Party, will actually nominate the son of an East
African visa holder, who spent a few brief years in America, a few decades
ago, for the Presidency of the United States. East Africa, of course, was
never a source of any part of traditional American Culture (White, Black or
Red). Moreover, Senator Obama's whole mantra appears to be a very
enthusiastic intent to change American culture in some less than clearly
defined direction.
Senator Obama is clearly not one of those adopted sons who seek to vindicate
the vision of the Founding Fathers; rather one who completely rejects that
vision, and would substitute a new one of unknown or less than certain
origins. (Considering what happened to the German people when they followed
a non-rooted Austrian, who had also promised a new order--a changed
Germany--in the last Century; had we not better look more closely at Senator
Obama?)
The Reverend Wright controversy has pointed out the questionable
associations of Senator Obama, but what has been generally missed in the
commentary thereon, is that Obama is clearly more antagonistic to American
culture even than Reverend Wright--who though he may blame White folk for
Black folks problems, at least believes in the traditional American concept
of self-help and personal responsibility. Obama has said that that will not
work unless we "change America." (But in his other remarks and
associations, he clearly also plays and accepts the blame game. He may not
believe that we invented AIDS as an experiment in genocide, but rejection of
a particular fantasy does not alter his basic drift on the subject of race,
and that is no different than Reverend Wright's.)
The bottom line is that Obama is actually less suited to be President than
his former Pastor, and no rational person would suggest that we elect
Reverend Wright, simply because he does applaud personal responsibility. We
need to focus public attention on this, or we are going to face a real
nightmare in only a few short months.

think that Obama has had quite a bit of exposure along with Clinton in
this election, more
so than past presidential candidates. I really find it hard to believe
that any candidate at this
point could drag this country any lower than where Bush now has us... I

Clinton ticket and a compromise between the two. Each has their
strengths which they each
need to play off of. I do feel that Obama is honestly driven toward
change in this country.
And I do see him as more of a person to sit down and try to work with
other countries to
the point of exhaustion before he'd flex the military arm of this
countryand that is what I think
is needed in the world right now... That we are willing to listen to
someone elses point of
view other than our own. McCain is just another might makes right guy
and that is something
we dont need right now. Sure have a strong military, but to have the
willingness to sit down
with those that dont agree with you and to find a common ground to work
things out is a
srtong point this country really needs. Condi is just a mouthpiece for
the military.

Well first & foremost one must understand that the entire premise is
of "equality" is false. Some people (regardless of color or gender)
are just innately better then others. Their upbringing is the same,
their education is the same, their financial status isn't the same,
and of course their overall IQ is not either. About the only part of
"Created Equal" that is correct is when the sperm meets the egg. From
that point on we've tried to legislate equality by enforcing lowest

Socialized medicine will not make my life better. Increased
Affirmative Action will not make my life better. Sexism/Racism from
the office of the POTUS will not make my life better.
Anything designed to create a "level play field" by reducing my

Now for those who are unable to compete in a Capitalist Economy may

Well I think that was Bill's approach and it really didn't seem to
work out all that well. While many want to blame Bush for 9/11, I
personally think that chicken roosts on Bill's doorstep.
Now that does not mean that I think the Invasion of Iraq was the
worlds greatest idea in the manner in which it was undertaken.
However, it also doesn't mean I think we should simply pack our shit &
split which is what both Hillary & Obama appear to be willing to do.
All-in-all I think what got this country attacked on its home soil was
Bill's failure to react to attacks on our interests abroad. Our
enemies need to know that any acts of violence against us will be met
with swift and instant action, not useless chatter.
All-in-all I'd like to see the US retire from the World Stage, focus
on our domestic issues, get our collective act together and then
invite other nations who want to be our "true" friends (as opposed to
bought & paid for ones) join us in accomplishing something other then
useless chatter. We have enough domestic issues to keep us busy for
at least a decade without worrying about what other nation states may
or may not do within their own borders.
