The great problem for minorities is that a policy of genocide towards
them can be entirely a democratic decision of the dominant group. In the
real world, there is no objective good or bad only propaganda for
particular ends. Propagandists wrap their killings under the labels of
justice or the concept of a universal right of self defence. One man's
freedom fighter thus becomes another's insurgent terrorist.
Nuclear weapons have made armed conflict between the major powers too
problematic to seriously entertain as a viable policy for geopolitical
expansion of interests. The thieves faction of US plutocracy could not
justify a bloated military upon the demise of communism without finding a
relatively weak and insignificant potential enemy.
Playing fast and loose with support for Zionist expansionism, while
keeping Iraq within its old Imperial designated borders seemed like a
walk in the park for a supper power like the USA.
Thus the thieves faction of US plutocracy are all keen maintainers of the
militarism of the cold war and the windfall profits the US military
industrial complex is capable of generating at taxpayers expense- only
the enemy has changed from subversive communist to radical insurgent
Islamist.
The idiot faction are by and large too stupid from rightist brainwashing
to develop any independent political paradigm in the US national
interest- so Obama must pretend to be capable of reconciling both
factions- not offering anything radically new like real change that would
rock the plutocratic boat.
Political debate in the US is not about reality but simply about how
adventurous a faction ought to be in their support of the plutocratic
imperial agenda for maintaining US super power status by the manufacture
of credible enemies.
Here US policy collides with objective reality generating highly
uncertain outcomes. From the imperialist/colonialist perspective the
objective question is whether the spoils of conquest justify the
sacrifice in money and lives lost. Is their adventurous great leap
forward over a speed bump or over an Everest? When democracies were
killing indigenous stone age peoples with modern rifles, the resistance
was little more than a speed bump on the road to empire. Killing
Palestinians or Arabs either directly or indirectly via support for
Zionist expansionism was a much more ambitious agenda, as it would be
uncertain how many Muslims might react unfavourably.
Sovereign states have an agenda to preserve group interest- to resist
foreign hegemony or the occupation of territory. Similarly, minority
ethnic groups struggle to preserve their economic and social identity
from colonial and imperial expansionism. That they should do so is
political reality- the evolutionary struggle of groups preserving
indigenous interests. The problem for a super power is that it has no
control over what group a particular individual will identify with, in
the contest for the hearts and minds- how psychological identity
conflicts might resolve in practice.
It had no control over how Nidal Hassan resolved his conflicted
psychological allegiances.
Palestinian/ Muslim liberation from Zionist colonialism and US occupation
of Iraq and Afghanistan following the Zionist neocon agenda for a
American Century conflicts with service in the US military as a US
citizen. Events suggest that his family's Palestinian origins tipped the
scale to the former alternative. How many other unanticipated
consequences to the USA might flow from adventurous plutocratic
militarism is unknown but the stakes were raised as Al Qaeda emerged as a
global threat to US plutocracy with the attack of 9/11. But the suckers
outside the plutocratic circus must be kept ignorant of the fact that
plutocratic imperialism for super power dominion and private profit
manufactures its own enemies. Al Qaeda is a symptom of reckless US
militarism not an artifact of radical Islamic extremism.
To exploit ethnic/racial/religious differences for private profit is
dangerous adventurism. For Europe, the militarist exploitation of notions
of ethnic/racial supremacy was no longer a safe bet given the sobering
effects of two world wars. The imperial drum beat was replaced by the
clash of ideologies- capitalism versus socialist undermining of imperial
re-conquest after the second world war. With the collapse of the
socialist block, US neo-imperialism became more adventurous by re-
defining the enemy and liberalising the constraints on capitalist
exploitation both domestically and internationally.
If increased military support for the cold war ally- the Zionist Israel
state, could be sold to moderate Arab regimes despite its detrimental
effects upon the rights of indigenous Palestinian Arabs, US neo-
imperialism could be safely back in business and the interests of the
losers would melt away as a non-issue in international affairs. In other
words the ultimate building of Greater Israel by the occupation of the
West Bank of Jordan, and the eventual ethnic cleansing of the non-Jewish
population would never become more than a psychological irritation to the
Arab and European allies of the USA preferring a conventional secular
resolution of the occupation issue via sanctions similarly to the
resolution in South Africa whereby Israel would be forced to give up
occupied territory.
The bias towards the Israeli Jews cannot be sold as easily as an article
of faith to the international community and the so called road-map is
pure political propaganda to create the requisite annexation and ethnic
cleansing via stalemate. The Zionist lobby in the USA being assured that
one or other of the theist faction of US plutocracy will not abandon the
Zionist cause and the neocons have embroiled both factions by their
successful agitation for both the Gulf and Iraq wars. These wars
together with the US involvement in war against the Russian occupation of
Afghanistan have inspired the Al-Queda counter-attacks against the West.
This neo-imperial adventure has turned out to be a major obstacle- not
the walk in the park painted by the Zionist agitators. The current
depression cycle that the US is trying to avoid by printing money is part
and parcel of the downside of hasty neo-imperial gambits that have
rewarded Jews and punished Muslims. The speed bump on the road of neo-
imperial adventure looks more like an Everest daily with intractable wars
in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan- with a Zionist Israel likely to expand
the conflict to include Iran. Allied terror bombing of villages in these
wars fuels the perception of religious as well and political overtones to
the conflict. The lives of Islamic civilians are far less valuable than
the lives of US soldiers.
Why is Israel treated as an exception by the USA, free to occupy
territory and oppress and discriminate for decades- all with the
financial and military backing of the US taxpayer other than as a
consequence of neo-imperial warmongering and religious brainwashing in
the USA? The conclusion of many Muslims is that US plutocracy has been
brainwashed by the Zionist lobby- that Israel is treated as an exception
simply because it has sold the biblical line to both factions of US
politics - that “God gave that land to the Jews”.
To secularists this is just one ambit claim of one religious prophet
against another- god is a non participant. If you wish to sell
geopolitical neo-imperialism as a “good “ then the economists can do
their cost benefit analysis and argue the case from a secular standpoint.
To attempt to sell it as a religious imperative – that Christian-Zionist
terror is better for the modern world than the Islamic alternative puts
any analysis beyond the pale of rationality because if more terror
provides a better outcome , why stop short of genocide or complete
extermination?
Sovereign states are responsible for their citizens. Border disputes are
resolved between sovereign states with or without UN assistance. The
escalation from tit for tat aggression threatens global peace.
In the real world of secular tit-for-tat escalation, if Zionist
aggression backed up by US proliferation of nuclear material to the
Zionists, is validated for the expansionist of the Zionist state of
Israel, then Muslim wars of aggression for the expansion or recovery of
territory must also validate as well.
The rules of the game are validated by the reality of how it is played-
not how an opportunistic opponent would like it to be played- skewed in
their interests.
US imperialists have two real secular choices if they desire to resolve
this issue peacefully, accept the Israeli annexation of the West Bank and
enforce full citizenship rights for the Muslim population of the West
Bank including the right of return for its displaced population- the true
“one state solution”. Or secure the return of the West Bank to Jordan-
the true “two state solution”. Any ongoing underwriting of Zionist
occupation of the West Bank, demonstrates not only imperial partisanship
and the absence of a policy of even handed peace making by a super power,
but religious bias towards the future interests of Jews against those of
Muslims.
When Al Queda sends globe trotting US imperialists home in a box, it is
sending imperialists the message- kill us with your geopolitical
adventures for an expansion of anti-Muslim interests, and we will kill
you for the expansion of ours. Theist mindsets don't understand this
secular game of tit for tat aggression, because they are all brainwashed
believers in the righteousness of their geopolitical “mission”. Ask any
theist what the hell he or she is doing in some far off corner of the
Earth like Afghanistan and you are likely to get a “mission statement”.
Obama cannot solve this issue with a theist mindset that favours Israeli
Jews and the neo-con agenda for the establishment of an American century.
The fort Hood massacre has more to do with the religious agitation of the
USA towards embracing a non-secular pro-Zionist foreign policy, than it
has to do with Islamic fundamentalism and its brainwashing of a Muslim
serving in the US military. US plutocracy rules by keeping the debate
within the parameters of its choosing- both the PBS and private networks
made abstemious mention of the shooters family's Palestinian origins, if
not at all. This is propaganda by omission, if you don't mention the
dots, no one will connect them and learn anything from the experience.
However the networks were keen to broadcast the Zionist senator Lieberman
view that this was just another case of terrorism by unchecked Islamic
extremist brainwashing.
Ultimately, the execution of Nidal will not solve anything, it just
repeats the current cycle of tit-for-tat revenge. The main question now
is how a rabid US militarism transforms the domestic economy if the
current depression cycle cannot be turned around by stimulus spending.
The Nazis created their empire with irrational quasi religious concepts
of racial supremacy catapulted into prominence by the 1930s depression
cycle created by the wealth disparities of the 1920s. Now the real
danger is that the USA will also be catapulted by the current depression
cycle into an equally extreme quasi religious concept of exceptionalism.
Why would militarists stop at limited wars when they ultimately only see
victory via escalation of missions to a global conflagration. The
greater the mass of US unemployed the greater the need for the factions
of US plutocracy to protect themselves from domestic revolutionaries by
the escalation of a global conflict, particular as the thieves and idiot
factions fall under the spell of their common propaganda during the
depths of a depression cycle.
The dots the plutocrats don't want anyone to connect is that of
increasing wealth disparity and the realisation that the political
circus they call democracy exist entirely for the advancement of this
end. Maintaining plutocratic dominion at home and abroad is the main
event- irrespective of how many billions need to be looted from the
public purse.
The fort Hood massacre is but a passing sideshow that will quickly pass
us by, the suckers left little the wiser as to its whys and wherefores.
