Instead of Gun Control: More Private Security

http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2012-07-23/instead-of-gun-control-more-private-security

The movie theater massacre in Aurora, Colo. has provoked the usual
calls for stricter gun control. Surely, liberals argue, we can do
without 100-round drum magazines such as the one the Colorado killer
is said to have used. The National Rifle Association, once it comes
out of its bunker to respond, will oppose any and all new gun control
laws.

Then, nothing will happen. There are many reasons nothing will happen,
as Ive written, most recently, here and, earlier, here. The most
telling sign that nothing will happen is that President Barack Obama,
a believer in strong gun control laws, has remained mute and
motionless on the topicafter the Tucson supermarket spree in January
2011, and now, again, after Aurora.

The political costs to Democrats are too higha good thing or an
infuriating thing, depending on your views of the Second Amendment,
self-protection, and the meaning of firearms in American culture.

Another something that would help... Don't take your six-year-old
daughter to a movie theater after midnight...

Good idea

Charge gun owners a fee and use the funds to support your well trained
security forces.

Not for the USA.
Start in Colorado where Columbine and Aurora are fresh in their minds.
All gun owners.

Well you can try. Me I'd rather we have a little more control of the
selling of 100 round clips and such. What Yoorghis/Gary called a
"water gun Control" don't ask me his meaning.

Limited Gun Control many would support. Then again we seen to have a
camp that want a total ban.

A total ban in the USA is IMPOSSIBLE.
It would no more effective than prohibition.

Every time I talk about sanity I'm charge as a gun grabber.
The "sanity" will have to come from gun owners, not me.

One White guy shoots fifty people at a theater, and the whole world

Says the simpering, whining little racist cunt who hopes nobody notices
that, thanks to the efforts of the NRA and America's gun culture, the US
does a 9/11 on itself every three weeks.

They'd be good jobs, but some of them involve shooting, bombing,
clubbing, people. Plus, bribing politicians, although that puts money
into circulation.

I'm sorry, there's no way that an illegal liquor industry as per the
1920's will provide sufficient growth for this economy to prevent
disaster.

The illegal industry, in a certain sense, is like trying to "lift
yourself by your own bootstraps" (to use an old term) or "perpetual
motion" for another. It simply doesn't work, IMO.

The Austrian economists and Chicago School probably had the best,
basic ideas, IMO.

Not to say, illegal drug industry does no good, or the 1920's Capone
gang was all bad.

Some good Demonrat politicians came out of that, as I gather. Joseph
Kennedy - John Kennedy's father, is reputed to have been involved in
it. Seems likely, even without any info from history...

Not all bad, either.. IMO.

Kennedy also was a super-tax-cutter, so for the dem side, today would
be considered very very very evil.

he'd be a repugnant hero in some ways.

Any gun is overrated for killing. My flyswatter does nicely.

Eat shit and die in hell.

"Typical white person"

-Hussein

"Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself."

-Hussein

Hussein's associations:

Rev. Wright, whose church Hussein attended and supported financially for
over
20 years:

"Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is
controlled by rich white people."

Rev. Lowery, hand picked by Hussein to deliver the inaugural benediction:

"Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in
the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when
black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around, when
yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white
will embrace what is right."

Sonia Sotomayor, Hussein's pick for the SC:

"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences
would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who
hasn't lived that life."

From Hussein's book:

"White man's greed runs a world in need."

Prof. Gates, anti-white racist who Obama says is a friend of his.

Obama advisor Van Jones:

"Only Suburban White Kids Shoot Up Schools"

"You've never seen a Columbine done by a black child"

"White polluters steered poison into minority communities"

"Coates, who said he was testifying before the commission as a whistle
blower and in violation of his Justice supervisor's instructions, said that
there is a "hostile atmosphere" in the civil rights division that did not
"reflect race neutral policies." He said the country's major civil rights
organizations are also biased against race-neutral enforcement."

"In emotional and personal testimony, an ex-Justice official who quit over
the handling of a voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther
Party accused his former employer of instructing attorneys in the civil
rights division to ignore cases that involve black defendants and white
victims. "
