Then why do you have the judicial branch striking down perfectly
constitutional laws banning gay marriage?

Authoritarian that knows best and wishes to harness the raw power of
unconstitutional judicial decree to force your morals on society while
hiding behind the lie of smaller government?

The institution of marriage is a cornerstone of civilization and is a
societal concern.
