It would be cheaper to just hire all the Afghanis in a bidding war
against the Taliban. They're actually starting to do that, by the way.

I figure for the price of sending one American soldier to Afghanistan,
you can buy off 1000 Taliban fighters. For $1 Billion, you can employ a
bigger army than we have over there.
