It was 912 days not 911. Close but no cigar.

And anyway, "911" is an American term. Many other (perhaps even
*most*) countries go dd-mm not mm-dd.

Now if something had happened after 119 days (or does happen after
1109 days)......

The "six months from Sept 11th" link is more compelling. Perhaps ETA
were mindful of that symbolism.

It's a shame though that the catchpenny US media propaga.., sorry,
Journalism, outlets are still trying to flog the dead horse that it
was Al Qaeda., rather that respect the knowledgable opinion of the
"terrorism experienced" Spanish authorities that it was ETA.

Presumably it was the same media sources who went "well it was NEARLY
911 days, so let's just drop the "nearly".
