We will see. We lost a battle not the war!!! The only babies I see
on TV are the democrats crying and whining.

At least we were not caught in a lie like Hillary. Wait until the

The funding is tied to the condition Clinton finally present his own
numbers on how he wants to achieve a balanced budget, so that he and the
GOP leaders can finally sit down and negotiate with numbers - not
rhetoric. Until he does, funding will not be released.

The Republican Party can read the polls. The public blames the GOP for
the shutdown. The President is making political hay and the GOP is
suffering. The President is defending the weak against the powerful
and the vile. The Republican snakes will have to crawl back in their
holes and plan a new way to stuff the pockets of the rich.

What a laugh! The President (a Democrat) is protecting the weak against
the powerful and vile! The president is so gutless that he will defer
payment for services rendered to a generation that is yet born! If that
ain't the slimy and slick victimizing the defenseless, I don't know what is.

Kern,

Have your read "Sleepingwalking Through History" Perhaps this is one
volume you should pick up and read. If you are concerned about lies,
deception, greed, consitiutional violations, war making, etc. from the
Whitehouse, then this is a good book for you to read.

By the way, a Democracy is built upon compromise. It is not ` losing a
battle to win a war` to compromise. If we lose our ability to form
strong compromises in this nation we will lose our Democracy and our
freedom. DGW

If and when the lower 48 discover that they are being "had" by the

Come on, Voltaire! We have to be nice to the neo-cons for a while.
Their heros have made asses of them. The Newtists actually believed
that "I'd rather be right than re-elected" stuff that the right-wing
reps were spouting.

Maybe some day one of our heros will betray us. If that happens, I'm

Out of the mouths of babes....

This is, except for the last two sentences, pretty much the way it
is, IMO.

If the GOP had a propaganda arm as effective as the Debtocrats', it
might well be the other way around....

You're wrong. Since it was obvious that Clinton couldn't care less about all
those poor government workers going without their pay, the GOP leadership did
the only compassionate thing: they got the government working again. There
really wasn't any point in letting Clinton continue to keep the government
closed, since he obviously has no interest in reaching a balanced budget.

This keeps getting better and better. I sure hope the GOP tries to
sell this "compassion" thing in the election this fall, while they
kill the EITC to give the rich a capital gains tax break.

They SOLD OUT to public opinion. They made you look like a fool. Now
they will lose the respect even of their neo-con limbots.

I guess anyone knows about non-productive leeches stealing money from
working Americans, its a "lawyer2b". And of course, the House is full
of lawyers.
But now it's _your_ neo-con majority that's doing the stealing.

Some background:

Voltaire is really Jim Kennemur. He claims to need anonymity
because someone might kill him. (Really!) William Discipio fingered
his account and got his real name, and now uses the finger reply as
a .sig.

Apparently Jim thinks he will be killed because he thinks people

: Plan: I hope to despoil as many 10 year old boys as I
: possibly can. That's why I live in California where they
: grow young and sweet.

I told Jim to research the concept of "public figure" and how
they can't expect the same degree of either privacy or protection from
potential libels/slanders as private figures.

Apparently he didn't do his homework, because implying that
someone wants to rape boys is libel no matter how public the figure.
I urge Mr. Discipio to contact an attorney, as well as Mr. Kennemur's
Internet provider.

We're all used to the accusations of lying, being a totalitarian
of various flavors, etc. But trying to say someone is a child abuser?
You've crossed the Rubicon, Mr. Kennemur. Hope you find your imminent

Counselor Brett. Were you a jailhouse lawyer?

First of all, libel is out of the question because I have spoken to
no one on here.

Second of all, to prove slander the party bring the suit will have to
prove (1) that I ever posted such a document. It is a simple matter
to edit any information found on a Usenet group. This in and of itself
makes the proof almost impossible. By the way, you just posted the
finger file you suggest I composed. Are you now open to civil suit?
(2) That I knew the statement to be false. I have no idea what anyone
on here does in their spare time. And I do not care. It is non of my
business. (3) That I intended to do the person bringing the suit
damage or harm.

Thirdly. Such a case would have to be handled in federal court because
of the use of interstate phone lines and multiple state locations of
the parties unless the plaintiff is also a resident Texas. Take this
sort of frivolous lawsuit to a lawyer licensed to practice before the
federal bench and watch him laugh as he tells you about the backlog
due to bankruptcies and drug cases in the federal court system.

This sort of harassment is what any liberal can expect if they allow
their name to fall into the hands of those whose conservatives views
can not stand the light of inspection and questioning.

Please to not clutter my mailbox with any more of your inane
ramblings. I no longer communicate with any of the small group of net
deviants who hunt these areas like mad dogs. Life is good.

I guess I'm not the only one that has tasted first hand Kennemur's
arrogant denial and abject lies.

Kennemur is a real piece of work. It's no wonder he and Rack Jite get
along so well.

I think I'd like to press charges against Kennemur... just to see the
look on his face when a judges declares him "guilty as charged." I'd
really love to see the level of denial he would sink to after that.

Watch the weasel, Jim Kennemur, deny he fabricated the .sig file where he
claimed I molested children.

This guy Kennemur doesn't even have the balls to stand by his smear.

Please point out my hypocrisy, Mr. Integrity. It can't be as glaring as
the hypocrisy exhibited by your continued childish behavior including:
bludgeoning anybody that doesn't hold your political views,
mischaracterizing anybody you disagree with as a right winger (eg
womack), using reactionary hate talk (the freshmen repulicans are
committing treason), outright lies (discipio admitts ...), smear
(discipio is a substance abuser, discipio is a child abuser) and
gutlessness (running away after womack handed you your head on a platter)
considering that you spent quite a bit of time writing a polished piece
accusing people of treating you with the contemptable behavior that
characterizes your entire being.

You are a funny guy, Richard.

Read Hanson a little bit longer. You will find that his Dole comment
pales in comparison to most of the reactionary hyperbole he spews.

Take a quick search for a post from "womack" where Hanson is handed his
proverbial head on a silver platter. Look for Hanson's absolutely
ludicrous response.

A bit of advice: if you're going to try to bait someone, try not
doing it in such a transparent and inept manner. Makes you look as
desperately on-the-ropes as Discipio.

The only facts that Discipio presents in his postings is his
inability to recognize that his hardassed dogmatism only serves
to expose his essentially fascistic worldview and his sadly
misguided belief in the projection of his own faults on others
as an effective bluff. He might as well just admit he's a closet
social fascist and drop the P.C. pretenses to the contrary (that
he actually believes others have the right to adopt viewpoints
different from his own) - he'll at least then have a consistent,
if still a losing, viewpoint to base an argument on.

And offense? You vastly overestimate him. His (and yours)

If RH us a liar, hypoctite, smear artist and shill then he must
be posting from Newt Gingrich's office.

Notice how he has been missing for a day or two? I think he's one of
Klinton's minions. They do seem to have the same integrity.

Calm down, Volty. Keep your paranoia under control, please. The only 'crime'
you are being accused off is stupidity. If that's a crime now, most of the
liberal would already be in jail.

'shit' is not something that chickens would find offensive. The ones who
should be offended are left-wing extremist, because of the shining example of
intelligent discourse you make them look like.

Hey, you said it, you figure it out. Doesn't make much sense, but
maybe you don't mind posting that sort of thing. And I'm not going to
waste my time trying to rectify faults in YOUR logic, that's something
you have to face on your own. And the above question still stands.

And in your case, MAYBE it is "look behind the mirror, if you need
help." You know, the one in front of your bathroom medicine-cabinet.
