Like all Jyotish forecasts it will turn out to be untrue and of
course like all soothsayers they will never accept responsibility for
getting it wrong.

Not at all. It will be true and we will then relive the Al Gore years.
These phony polls are trying to convince Republicans that the game is
already over, so just stay home. In reality, these polls are rigged by
asking more Democrats how they will vote than Republicans. Then they
conclude it's a close race.
Even Democrats are worried about their upcoming loss, so they are
starting to focus on states who are now using (or trying to pass) Voter
ID. Voter ID will be the neo-hanging chad. Liberal blogs and media are
making claims of hundreds of thousands being disenfranchised over Voter
ID.
That's my prediction.

This model is too naive - with only two explantory variables.
Barring a total economic disaster before Nov - Obama will win
comfortably - the electorate will not replace an incumbent with
someone who does not offer a compelling ideological contrast (Both

conservative. But I think people are about sick of this guy. He's
managed to piss off more groups of Americans than I've ever seen in my

without a college education - "pissed off"ness is their normal state
