Rush Limbaugh did it again did with a superb
performance, displaying his charm, wit and
knowledge of the facts on Paula Zahn's
"On The Edge" program last evening. I
certainly hope that many liberals and
especially the "LIBERAL WACKO'S" were
enlightened and inspired. They must repent
for their selfish self-interests, and start
on the road to a productive life instead of
their present low, self-esteem road of
government dependency.

Sounds like you nearly CAME, Fishbreath.

I heard that Limbaugh was STILL a liar, hypocrite,
coward, and right wing propagandist.. And a philosophical
fat head.

Must have been a different Rush "the hutt" Limpballs than I watched.

He was still using unabashed fallacy argument to argue points, but did
manage to reiterate his view that he "reflects his LISTENERS view".
Reflecting a "listeners view" is not the same as telling the truth.

YOU "depend" on Rush limpballs to formulate your posts, responses,
your entire personna.

And you're STILL failing.

Here's one of *my* favorite Rush recipes:

Rush & Beer Stew

3 pounds of obese radio commentator,
boneless-- cut in 1/2" slices
2 tablespoons butter
6 medium onions -- chopped
1/2 teaspoon flour
1 can consomme
1 bottle beer
2 beef bouillon cubes
brown sugar -- to taste
1/2 teaspoon salt -- or to taste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf

In Dutch oven or large, heavy saucepan, heat
butter. Add Rush and cook until well browned on all sides. Remove
Rush and set aside. Add onions to pan and cook until slightly browned.
Stir in flour and cook until browned. Stir in consomme, bouillon,
beer, brown sugar and seasonings.

Return Limbaugh to pan, cover tightly and simmer for
3 hours or until he is tender. Stir occasionally and add water
if it gets too thick.

Serve plain or over egg noodles or rice.

Bon appetite'

I didn't watch, I never watch ANYTHING on Fox (except for the
Simpsons), but I can tell you that on those issues where I have
relatively complete information (and which Rush speaks on), he's pretty
consistently a fool. I don't think of him as a liar...he obviously has
very little knowledge, no wisdom, and a towering ego. I think of him
as a loudmouth. One of those folks who embarass themselves and
others.

While they are not lies, merely egregious mistakes that no professional
journalist or media person would ever commit (and keep their jobs) I
have two that come to mind.

These aren't the only two. There are dozens with each new broadcast
day. But these are the ones I've chosen to remember so I can say, yes,
Rush is a fool, and here are some examples:

Rush claimed that the Pacifica Radio network (and if you want to see
what media is like without the4 corporate influence you should listen!)
was "95% supported by the Committee on Public Broadcasting" or whatever
that umbrella agency is for public radio. In fact, the figure is 5%.

I also had the pleasure of listening to Rush rattle on for three hours
on how Vince Foster was murdered in an apartment in Georgetown leased
by Hillary Clinton. Of course, Foster committed suicide, and Hillary
never leased anything in Georgetown. But it was good for three hours
of national hate mongering and disinformation.

he's a liar, since he knows the facts. The CPB mone is a matching grant

ACtually, The Simpsons is one of the best shows on TV, excepting PBS and
occasionally good History Channel, etc.

Just as Shakespeare used comedies to tell stories, make points, and
generally reflect on foibles of human nature, so do the Simpsons, using
comedy to make fun of the human condition. The Simpsons is far more
informative and entertaining than Fat Rush,. although Rush does
periodically hit a good one.

I liked it when Bubba was doing the Health Care thing in his first term...
with Dr. Jekyll and Henry Hyde and his faithful servant Algore... that was
funny as hell.

But yes, Rush is nothing more than a right wing propagandist and sychophant.
He isnt interested in real issues. He is interested in exploiting the
market for self enrichment, which after all, is what the capitalist system
is all about. He's just making money, that's all. American as Apple Pie.

actually, it's a famous bit of rushie lore. not long afterward, rushie
allowed ted koppel to engage in revisionism about what happened by
soft-soaping it on 'nightline.' if not an actual lie, it certainly was
dishonest for rushie to allow koppel to mischaracterize what happened
for a national audience.

someone around here was asking for rushie lies. his claim a couple of
days ago that liberals were sorry the berlin wall came down is a good
example. I'd like him or any of his accolytes to cite any liberal of
national standing who said they regretted the wall coming down.

another rushie lie is when he says the first lady, in her 1996
convention speech, advocated using family medical leave for taking the
dog to the vet. she didn't say that. she did refer to taking the
family dog to the vet as one of the things that occupy the day for many
americans. she then went on to talk about expanding family medical
leave, but did not cite going to the vet as one of its purposes. that
kind of detail often escapes rushie and his fans.

here's another one. last year, when it became clear that starr would
not be referring whitewater, fbi files, travel office or vince foster
charges to congress, rushie said he never thought those issues should
have amounted to anything that should force the president from office.
to the contrary, rushie made a campaign from day one about whitewater,
madison guaranty, and, as they came up, fbi files, travel office and
vince foster (he even spread rumors on the air that foster was
murdered). he included all in a litany of character assassination
against the president and so far has not had the integrity to admit that
investigations of each have turned up no evidence of wrongdoing by the
clintons.

again, if not an outright lie, it is certainly dishonest to pretend
otherwise, because you guys on the dark side to this day act as though
this litany is valid, when it is not.

Rush is not a dick. To have a dick means you have balls. Rush is
a yellow-bellied, draft-dodging coward. He has no dick and bo balls.
Like all members of the Limbaugh family, he is true and pure human shit
mixed with piss and pus, which is the essence of a Limbaugh.

I mean, everyone here jumps on a certain Democrat for lying about sex,
but then, when it's Rush, or any Republican (especially Ronzo), these
same fellers say, "Oh, no, that's different..." You know who they are.

For your viewing pleasure FOX will rebroadcast it twice this weekend as it
was the number one show in that time slot by a 3 to 1 margin.

You've never heard me condone lying by anyone.
I am even holding back on my comments against Bush til I catch his ass in a
lie. As I have only seen bush speak for about 30 seconds I have not been
exposed to any of his lies. But I will say that I've heard several
unfavorable things about him that have not been confirmed yet. In the next
election there is a strong possibility that I will try to vote all
incumbents out and not vote for anyone that I have heard tell a lie. I think
lying, not money, is the root of all evil.

If I were you, I'd check ratings again. It wasn't even the number one show

the week was (again) WWF Raw is War on USA Networks.

Incorrect yet again, and you said you listened to it. While rush HAS reported
these stories he always identifies their source. He lets you know over and
over the source. This does not mean he endorses these stories. It does not
meanhe claims to beleive these. He is reading articles and playing sound bites
of others. Nice blurring of those facts to prove rush is lying, you lose your

Since when is regurgitating "rumors, stories, lies, innuendo,

We KNOW why you dildo.

It's because you not only can't thing independently from limpballs,

what mealy-mouth dodging of responsibility. are you going to follow the
same rules for the stuff he gets right? if so, then you have set up a
scenario where he is responsible neither for the stuff he gets wrong or
gets right. congratulations, you have neutered rushie!

drudgie tries to do the same thing. when he gets something wrong, he
blames it on his source. nope. that's not how things work. if rushie,
drudgie, you or me want any credibility, it hangs on what we believe and
know and what we say about it. if you try to squirm out of
responsibility, you're only kidding yourself.

nope, not quite. I work for a living. if I'm on the road I might tune

the stuff he comes up with ... it's almost embarrassing to think he
believes what he's saying, and that his followers don't feel the need to
challenge it.

I noticed one day the week before last he was going with a lot of the
same stuff from about two years ago. one bit was how the president
'rules against the will of the people.' setting aside for a moment that
rushie provided no specifics, I wonder how that squares with rushie's
other recent accusation that the president governs by opinion poll. if
he's governing against the will of the people, what would the point be
of doing opinion polls?

which one is it, rushie?

The funny thing is that drudge is correct more than most news sources. And for
you that reposts what the president says, that totally shoots down your
credibility if you beleive the drool you posted.

No you didnt. You claimed rush said something where he made it clear that he
was just reporting what others said. If rush said that clinton says he never
had sex with lewinski, using your logic , that would be a lie rush told. Get a

Proof once again that you aren't all there, ron.
There is no reason to believe that the polls are even conducted let alone
real. And to ascribe that the polls are somehow representative of the
american people is, well, goofy at best.
After all, the polls are (supposedly) revealed on major media TV, the same
place that spawns stuff like Springer and the Family Guy and Melrose Place.

I guess you need to find out more about drudgie. he says he only gets
about 80 percent of stuff right. let's see, what ever happened with
that summit meeting of clinton bimbos who were going to file a class
action suit? hmmm ... I wonder.

the fact is that drudgie's starring moment -- the clinton-lewinsky
nonsense -- accounted for several huge screwups any one or two of which,
at any respectable daily, would have gotten him sent back to reporting
night cops.

90 percent of the pieces on his site are merely hyperlinks to other news
sources. of the stuff he generates personally, the majority is aimless
gossip. the rest, flip a coin as to whether it is a complete report or
accurate in any meaningful way.

yeah, right. if you guys on the dark side ever exerted a tiny fraction

A typical right wing ploy is to discount the polls as a "Commie plot" .
Actually the polls have become increasingly accurate, especially when near
an election. They usually are within a few points of the final vote. The
Repubs believed their own propaganda and ignored the polls the showed the
public was tired of the whole hypocritical impachment process. because of
that they got their asses kicked in the last election. So Keep on
disbelieving the polls if you want.

No ron, you said that since rush read other peoples articles and gave them
credit for it, that made him a liar. Then using YOUR logic, anyone that ever
said the president was innocent, or even quoted an article that said the
president was innocent is a liar too since he has been found guilty and fined.

wrong again. I didn't say rushie lied when he floated that outrageous
story that the first lady was an accessory in an alleged murder of vince
foster. he fucked that up royally and unforgivably, especially since he
never owned up to it. as I stated originally, the dishonesty came later
when he allowed ted koppel to mischaracterize the incident -- in his
presence and on national t.v. -- as something much more innocent.

here's another rushie lie. on his old t.v. show, there's the infamous
segment when he showed chelsea clinton as the white house dog. sometime
later he said he had no idea that a staffer was going to show that image
during that segment. a simple question: when rushie said the words
'white house dog,' as we heard him do, what image did he expect to
appear on the screen? his explanation is the lie.

by the way, are you feeling lonely? I always find it interesting when
the dittoheads head for cover when confronted with direct evidence of
their leader's errors, distortions and lies.

I admitted no such thing.
One would have to believe that klintin 'governs' in order to make a
judgement about rush's statement.
I don't believe that klintin 'governs'.
He isn't capable and has proven this consistently for more than 6 years.
If klintin worked at regular job he would have been fired long ago as all he
does is party and travel and spend, spend, spend, spend, spend and sexually
assault female employees, and lie like a bastard.

Wrong again JQP.
I disagree with all polls.
No proof is ever presented, nor asked for, to validate their very existence
let alone their accuracy.
The only people that believe 100% what they see on TV are people that are
too stupid to get up off the couch.
That is about 67% of the american populace.

Clinton should have lost his credibility long ago. In a thinking society, he
would have. In a Mall bound, soap opera, hedonistic society, he reigns.

Sorry Don, but you are a you, perhaps part of a they but not a they unto
yourself!
It maters not what you agree with or disagree with, since you are a you, not
a they.
As part of the they, you might not display the attributes that I mentioned,

No ron, he gave someone elses account that claimed she was. Just like all
those people that said the president said "I did not have sex with that woman

How could you know that? I always find it interesting when liberals accept all
the excuses the president uses and call rush to task for making one error.
Isnt that hypocritical of you.

Just like I said ron, anyone that ever said the president claimed not to have
sex with monica is in exactly the same boat you put rush in. Anyone that ever
defended the president saying that he said he never used pot. Anyone that
ever said that he didnt lie under oath have committed exactly the same thing.

when rushie says liberals regret that the berlin wall came down, it's a
lie.

when he says the first lady advocated using family medical leave to take
the dog to the vet, it's a lie.

when he sits on national television and allows ted koppel to misconstrue
events when rushie passed along the outrageous rumor that the first lady
was an accessory to the alleged murder of vince foster, it's dishonest
at best, if not a lie by omission.

when he blames a staffer for showing chelsea clinton as the white house
dog on his t.v. show, then fails to explain what he expected to appear
on the screen when he said the words, 'white house dog,' then it's yet
another case of lying like a dick.

No actually it is an opinion. IT is also a fact. Are you saying not one
liberal anywhere regrets the wall coming down? Some do, some dont. Most wish
it didnt happen while reagan was president which BTW was his point you so
easily forgot to mention. And that makes you a what?

You really have to listed to his words rather than just hallucinate things.
The words "whats next" doesnt mean that he said the first lady said that. Can
you be anymore dishonest?

So rush's staff cant make an error and you hold him responsible. BTW he also
