Wheaton College?
Bob Jones University?

My point (sorry it missed you) involves the stereotypes employed by political parties in the name of diversity. All political parties do this not just right wing ones. The result is a kind of freak show faux diversity, in which minorities of all kinds become trophies to be displayed, as opposed to players that have to be taken seriously.Even trophies who manage to become players who have to be taken seriously still have to be trophies, if not so frequently. It's insulting. The this is my Jew, my woman, my homosexual, my AIDS victim, my black guy, is a sad sorry way to elect a government. But every party in your US and my Canada does this. The scary thing is, if you do it well it can help you win. We all get the government we deserve.

Can't they be both?

If minorities were more involved, this wouldn't be an issue. Instead,
they are not.

The thing is that US conservatives are so astonishingly *bad* at this.
You think that token women's groups mainly composed of brainwashed RR
females and raving loonies like Coulter and token Blacks (like
Clarence Thomas) and speaking Spanish very, very poorly will trick
people into believing that the combined agenda of the RR and corrupt
crony capitalism is in their best interest and then proceed to prove
with every sentence, every 'principle', every UN vote, every action
that the exact opposite is true. It's astonishing how bad the GOP is
at this.

We're involved. It's just that we see you for what you are and we
don't *like* you.
Okay - it's gotta be satire. Why on earth would someone find Laura
Bush a compelling role model?

Two TEXAS oilmen from two different companies, actually.
BTW, do you remember the GOP convention that nominated
Son of a Bush? What a laff riot. The camera saw women,
latinos, blacks, american indians, visitors from Mars and
Venus, but no white fat cats. That was quite a show.
