May 15: While speaking about whether President Bush injected himself
in the presidential campaign on Wednesday, Hardball's Chris Matthews
and radio talk show host Kevin James disagreed over the definition of
appeasement in American history circa 1939."

Matthews beats this moron into the ground. But, what's most
instructive, is the utter stupidity and willful ignorance of Kevin
James. James tries to argue that Obama is an appeaser "like Neville
Chamberlain." When Mathhews asks him what it was Chamberlain did that
made him an appeaser, James didn't know. But that wasn't enough
embarrassment for James. Not only was it completly obvious he did not
know, he compounded his embarrassemnt by not coming clean to begin
with by continuing to pretend like he understood the connection.
This interview is telling because James is a conservative talk show
host who pretends to know the issues and fancies himself an informed
commentator is *exactly* like all the rest of the conservative
commentators. That is to say: Pretend you're an elitist (read in the
conservative pea-brained mind: "educated") and when the opposition
trounces you, try shouting them down. Matthews got it right when he
said: "pathetic."
What's important to conservatives is their loyalty to their
increasingly fanatical political movement. The facts aren't important
and are to be ignored unless politically expediant. The only thing
this idiot James wanted to know was whether or not he could attach the
word "appeasement" as a negative connotation to Mr. Obama.
Conservatives do not care about understanding the intricacies of
either domestic or foriegn policy and don't really want to think about
it either. By proxy, they don't care about the country. Conservatism
is just irrational fanaticism.
Or alternatively, they could be considered fanatical irrationalists,
no?
More like an error of redundancy. Conservatives can have that effect
on people...like a virus or the side effects of psych-drugs.
Hardball continues to lag in the ratings, finishing last with just 314,000
viewers behind Fox's Shepard Smith and CNN's Live from the Headlines in the
7 p.m. ET/4 PT time slot

What I like about Hardball is the guests they get. There isn't a show
like it that has the newsmaking guests like Mathew's show.
I figure if you want a Politics for Dummies show, don't watch Hardball.
It's for adults.
====================
Yeah no shit.
Yeahhh, listen to Err America instead. That is when it is not in
baankruptcy or whne it's hosts are not being fired, quitting etc.
You make this too easy. Your post is demonstrative of the last point I
made: Conservatives do not care about understanding the intricacies of
either domestic or foriegn policy and don't really want to think about
it either. By proxy, they don't care about the country. Conservatism
is just irrational fanaticism. Of course, TV ratings have zero to do
with either domestic or foriegn policy. As Matthews put it: Pathetic.
So you have no response the quality of guests on Hardball. I guess my
observation that it's a show for adults was spot on.

"Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals,
as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong
all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks
crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if
only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been
avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is – the false
comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."

Irrelevent BS having nothing to do with PMSNBC CHris Matthews subject
snipped.
Yeah the guests are so great , the ratings are the lowest of all cable
networks.
You are irrelevant.
