This attack prompted this letter to the university community from the
university president:
To: Georgia State University Faculty, Staff and Students
From: Carl V. Patton, President
I write to inform you of an incident that occured yesterday (Dec. 2) in the
Georgia State University Village. Shortly before 3 p.m., a male knocked on a
door in the Sparta building of the Village. A resident opened the door and
the male forced his way into the apartment. The women in the apartment were
held against their will and the intruder sexually assaulted two of the
residents. The other women were not physically harmed. The intruder then
left the premises. The victims were able to give a description of the
intruder. The police are currently investigating the incident.
I strongly encourage all members of the university community to take
precautions whether you work on campus or are a resident of one of our
housing units.
If you do reside in the Village or Lofts, please follow these measures to
help assure you safety:
1. Lock your doors at all times.
2. Look through the peephole in the door to make sure you recognize the
person knocking.
3. Do not open the door to anyone or let anyone in the apartment who you do
not know.
4. Call the Georgia State University Police if someone unknown attempts to
gain entry to your apartment.
5. Do not allow unknown persons or persons who are not residents of the
Village to follow you into the Village.
To the entire Georgia State community:
Be aware of your surroundings. Also, you don't have to walk alone. You may
request a safety escort on campus by calling the Georgia State University
Police at (404) 651-2100 or you may contact the Village Police station at
(404) 206-5900. An officer or a cadet will drive or walk you to your
destination.
If you see suspicious persons or activites, please call the Georgia State
University Police at (404) 651-2100. Also, I encourage you to contact Crime
Prevention at (404) 651-2130 for safety tips and programs.
Thank you for your time.

OK .. do you see anything odd about that letter? The predator who attacked
those women is still at large, he hasn't been arrested. Police are looking
for him and, presumably, students are too. Tell me --- how are you going to
be able to identify the predator from the information contained in Patton's
letter? The president tells folks to lock their doors, look through
peepholes, identify who is knocking, etc. Nowhere, though, does he tell the
students just what they should be looking for. The predator was black. He
was stocky, not what you would call "tall," and was wearing a do-rag on his
worthless head. Why the hell not tell the students all this? Wouldn't it
make sense for the president to give the students and faculty some brief
description of the person who committed this crime?
Ahhh . but we have political correctness to deal with, don't we? This is,
after all, a university campus. Not only that, but it is the most liberal,
left-wing university campus in Georgia . perhaps in the southeast. To
identify this still at-large sexual predator by his skin color would be
horribly politically incorrect at best, and just plain racist at worse.
So, the president of Georgia State University fails to give students and
faculty the information they need to protect themselves from this jerk . all
because of the dictates of leftist politically correct dogma. You can bet of
the attacker was white EVERYONE would have been told so.

You're criticizing him for not telling the students of a school
located in Atlanta to be on the lookout for a stocky black man
wearing a do-rag. Do you really think that description is of any
use?

It would be when there's a white guy at the door. Or is everyone in
Atlanta a fashion-challenged stocky black man?

Congress is so strange. A man gets up to speak and says nothing. Nobody
listens - and then everybody disagrees. ~Boris Marshalov
What about trying to stay relevant?
By the way, Tim McVeigh was executed for his crimes.
Sure, males come in all colors. But if the perpetrator was identified by
the vistims as black, then what relevance does your question have?
It's of more use than omitting those details.
Oh look everybody. It's the racist "rosell" with a new name, too ashamed to
use the old one because he's been exposed as a fraud and an America-Hating
LIAR!!! When will you admit you LIED about the "whither on the vine" remark
"rosell" and that it was nothing but a left-wing campaign of LIES?? Huh??
Huh???
Let's recap:
You said:
> REMINDING them of "wither on the vine", you stupid fuck. <<Insult of
course!)
I said: (which you have completely ignored like a left-wing coward):
Oh that old tired left-wing communist LIE again. Newt was not talking about
Medicare but about the Health Care Financing Administration, the useless
health care bureaucracy that gets between a patient and their doctor. That's
what must "wither on the vine." Of course the LYING LEFT-WING America-Hating
liberals like yourself knew this was a lie, know the quote had NOTHING to do
with Medicare, but they ran with the blatant lie anyway and still hold onto
it like grim death.
Here's the FULL quote for you to stick up your LYING liberal America-Hating
ass which you can find on your beloved CNN:
http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1996/news/9607/15/ads.jackson/index.shtml
"What do you think the health care financing administration is?" Gingrich
asked. "It's a centralized command bureaucracy. It's everything we're
telling Boris Yeltsin to get rid of. Now we don't get rid of it in round one
because we don't think that's politically smart and we don't think that's
the right way to go through a transition. But we believe it's going to
wither on the vine because we think people are going to voluntarily leave
it. Voluntarily."
Now ADMIT you LIED. ADMIT you LIED!
Conservatives, who are mostly pro-death penalty, applauded his
execution.
Liberals, on the other hand.....are mostly anti-death penalty.

That's just silly. Aren't you a tiny bit embarrassed to be
caught posting this stuff?
I he had, how many African American students do you think go to that school?
Would you want the women on that campus to start "profiling"?

Do you think the college is being forthright in protecting their female
students or could they be sued for concealing the identity of a campus
rapist?
You're actually stupid enough to think that the women on that campus
won't be "profiling" once the grapevine spreads the word?

Wow, a lot of detail here. The details seem to be common knowlege.

No, it's intended to be a reminder to be on the lookout for suspicious
activity in general, not necessarily to be on the lookout for this one guy.
The description of the suspect obviously was released separately, since it's
included in this diatribe.

Is the letter the only information distributed about the incident? If so,
how the hell do you know the details?

Obviously, the description was given since you seem to know about it.

But if not, you'd hear nary a peep from neo-con racists like you.
No it isn't! Focusing on the details of race would lead people to be less
vigilant regarding anyone NOT black. As if women should simply open their
doors to white guys who knock. Encouraging people to be cautious about
everyone is in no way politically correct. Trying to make a common sense
caution into a race issue is what's racist.

Very true. Now be prepared to be flames by the baby-killers.
I recently had a thread going in here on that very subject. Imagine
if each Planned Barrenhood had such a device and showed it to every
prospective 'mother' contemplating abortion? They'd go out of
business.
They don't WANT to give the pregnant woman every possible piece of
information about the life within her. That's why they would be
against showing the enhanced images to the women.
They still to this day try to talk any pregnant woman who comes into
their offices into an abortion. It's some sort of immoral power play
that if they don't get to exercise their 'right' to an abortion,
they'll lose it.
Earlier and earlier 'fetuses' are being operated on in the womb using
these advanced technologies. I'd love for the Discovery channel to do
a series on it and ask the surgeons in the midst of such an operation,
'Is that a human you are operating on?', or 'Do you consider that a
human being?'
I think their answers would give pro-abortionists nightmares for
weeks.
The despicable Timothy McVeigh was executed for his crime, as he should have been.
But, what does that have to do with rape in a Georgia State dorm?
