polling. That includes Friday polling, the first interviews conducted following
Thursday's widely viewed vice presidential debate, the passage of the economic

what should have been safe states, opening up campaign offices for the
first time in Indiana and Missouri.
The RCP electoral college map shows major movement to Obama, with Obama
leading 264 to 163 without toss ups --- almost enough to win right
there. Add toss up states (McCain only leads two toss up states!!!) ---
Obama leads 353 to 185, a blowout.
McCain's stunt last week of "suspending" his campaign seems to have
blown up in his face, and repuglicon defeat of the first bailout bill
hurt more.
A just released poll by Elon University of North Carolina, a state that
had been solidly behind McCain by 7 points as little as two weeks ago,
--- a nine point swing in 2 weeks --- and finds a 10 point margin in
blaming the economic crisis on repugs, and a big margin for Obama as the
better able to manage the economy . McCain's lousy performance int he
debate --- North Carolinians put Obama as the victor by 10 points ---
are credited with moving NC to Obama.
It's impossible to say who is responsible, McCain or Congress, but
repugs are falling across the nation.
In NC, the once safe Dole is now behind.
Senate leader McConnell is in trouble, Coleman is suddenly vulnerable in
Minnesota, Begich leads in Palin's Alaska, Shaheen is up in New
Hampshire, Landrieu is back on top in Louisiana, even Nississippi has
become a toss up.
The American public has come to realize that repugs have raped the
country, and they are voting for a massive change.

likely.
Republics deserve to wake up the morning after the election the way normal

understand the situation.
In particular, you don't seem to understand that the default state of
the matter is "cleared up",
since the State Department (the Federal Agency with final authority on
the question) affirmed that
Senator Obama is a natural-born United States citizen. You are
obviously referring to the Berg lawsuit,
but nothing in that suit has been brought forward that would challenge
the government's position.

Obama remains statistically ahead for tenth straight day
PRINCETON, NJ -- Barack Obama leads John McCain among registered voters
across the country by a 50% to 42% margin in Gallup Poll Daily tracking from
Oct. 3-5, the tenth straight day in which Obama has held a statistically
significant lead.
This ten-day stretch of a significant Obama lead is the longest since he
became the presumptive nominee back in early June, and the longest for
either candidate at any point in the campaign. Today's result includes
interviewing conducted Friday through Sunday, after the Oct. 2 vice
presidential debate between Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden, and after
Friday's passage of a revised economic rescue plan to help alleviate the
Wall Street financial crisis.
The results suggest that neither of these events had a significant impact on
voter preferences.
