As we are increasingly aware, handing your security over to government is a dangerous thing to do because government never controls itself. It forever seeks to gain total control and power over everything. This simple rule has been seen throughout history, and unfortunately, it is still true of our state, national and local governments.
Can you think up a reason why our founding fathers spent so much time and effort on producing a Bill of Rights and Constitution?
Maybe they were closer to the fire than we are today. Maybe they lived through exposure to Big Government and all its tyrannical ways. Maybe we had better wake up before we are so secure, we have no freedom left.

Do you want your freedom, or do you want security? We might have to temporarily give up some of our rights until the War on Terror is won.

War on Terror = the Forever War Perhaps Big Brother needs more authority to extract confessions out of citizens? Are you for it or against? Don't stress about it, until local PD puts you in a stress position.

The minute you do that the War on Terror is lost -- Whoops since we already did why hasn't the White Flag been raised?
Ya see the entire purpose of Terrorism is to get a Government to make these types of changes, which causes the people to loose faith in their Government, which in turn forces a change in said Government. All-in-all it appears to be working.
Personally I don't fly commercial aircraft anymore not because of Terrorists, but because of being treated like one when I show up at the Airport. If the people at the Airport are going to constantly be asking me to "Show us your papers", they should at least be doing so in a German accent! -- "Before all else, be armed" -- Machiavelli

HAHA! I bet they are taking courses even now on how to sound German. Call the CPS office and see if they don't answer with a German accent.

Have you always been pig-ignorant, or is it something you had to work at to achieve?

Very easy to have Security without any liberties what so ever. Matter of fact it is the easiest form of Security to implement. -- "Before all else, be armed" -- Machiavelli
