people are getting spun into the most absurd conclusions
and it seems only to be getting worse
those who once denounced big government
find themselves fighting to support an administration
that has overseen the largest growth
of governmental powers
it's not a partisan thing
all parties do it
but it is certainly selected for fundamentalists
who have already perfected means of avoiding doubt
or causative introspection
many of those who denounced the war
still find themselves defending diane feinstein
and her war profiteering
in some strange battle against
"letting 'them' win"
and in these absurd positionings
people are focusing down on their hatreds
abandoning any still-functional processes
for blind talking points
sarah palin
someone who has had no national causes
who does not even to be aware
of many national causes
who everyone knows
understands
and many apparently accept
is being rehearsed
is running for office
it is clear that she has handlers
who dictate her positions
and yet some still absolutely believe
in their heart of hearts
that she is a maverick
because that wins the partisan
that her handlers
are many the same as cheney's
is something not even mentionable
can we scream some goofy mantra now?
