I'm going to try to take a few weeks off from forums like this. Got a
few jobs to do, home and work wise, with a new business taking off nicely :)

I'm sure some on these forums find me an irritating little shit, but
really all I'm doing is telling what I see as the truth, and adding a
little insight and balance beyond that of the average troll.

Some will no doubt laugh at me, but I don't see the point of pretending
to be someone I'm not. If I want to roll play there's plenty of
videogames and online worlds to do just that. Sometimes I embarrass
myself, but better that than put up a front. I know we've all got
character faults of some kind, what's the point of denying it?

Not really my style, The Times. I can stomach it's politics but it comes
over as a little fluffy and pretentious for me- too "chattery", I prefer
something a little more sincere.

Couldn't work at all for the Express though as they have a strict limit
on the IQ of applicants of somewhere in the region of 1-2. And whilst
I've liked my chemicals, I'd likely fail their breath test- you
presumably have to blow at least four times over the drink drive limit
to be allowed near a typewriter.

If I had the necessary talent it would be Viz or Private Eye. Both of
these publications actually write better stories and opinion than I
could knock up myself.

Fair enough. It's my strongest skill, and I've had plenty of success-
have a filing cupboard full of letters and articles that have appeared
in print. I like writing about politics obviously, but there in lies the
problem. There's not a great deal of demand for the balanced and
insightful editorial- what sells is often the one sided, ill informed
drunken cabbie rant that instills a sense of superiority in those
consuming it. Originality similarly makes for good reading, but
regurgitating has more commercial appeal.

Whether I'm writing a piece of text or creating music, my aim is to
cover bases that have been largely ignored elsewhere- and whilst there
may be little money in doing this, it is creating something of genuine
worth, which any sort of clone is not.

So I'm switching the bulk of my freelancing to the generally more
technical side of things, why I've made good money before.

I have. The coalition has decided to sack two of their most incompetant
cabinet ministers, Teresa May and Chris Grayling, make me a peer and
have me take on their governmental responsibilities, for less than a
third of their combined salaries. Isn't that cool or what?

Not only is there that small but direct saving, but the country can look
forward to.

A 25% drop- at least- in crime rates.
The best personal freedom anywhere in the world.
A diverse but unified society , deporting preachers of hate such as
Trevor Kavanagh.
Less red tape.

So everyone's a winner, and I'm off the dole! Sorted.
