Manhattan for the Rich Only

The Second Avenue Subway is displacing long-term residents in Manhattan,
where rents are very high. So even official relocation services are
suggesting people LEAVE Manhattan for affordable housing.....

From the NYT:

"The Riedis balked, saying the location would be dangerous for elderly
residents. They said their agent also suggested that, because of their fixed
income and the limited rent subsidy, they should consider moving out of
Manhattan."

So there...the Revanchist City strickes again. The true cost of
transit......
