Arces Network, LLC is searching for two candidates who will be the
first in their European office expansion. We're looking for people
with the following skills. Not all of the skills are necessary, but
the more the applicants have, the better their chances:

Windows skills
* MS SQL Server (2000/2003/2005)
* MS Windows Server 2003 or newer, Active Directory and domain
controller replication
* MS Sharepoint
* MS Exchange 2003 or newer
* MS IIS 6 or newer
* Windows-specific security
* Windows backup solutions (Retrospect, Veritas)

Unix/Linux skills
* Linux operating system (Debian/Fedora/Gentoo)
* *BSD operating system (FreeBSD/NetBSD)
* Apache Webserver
* DNS Servers (TinyDNS/Bind)
* FTP Servers (ProFTPD/vsftpd)
* Scripting (Perl/Shell/PHP/Ruby/HTML)

Networking Skills
* Switching logic (VLANS, Ethernet, QoS)
* Routers
* Firewalls (policy design and maintenance)

Common skills
* Datacenter work - racking and cabling
* Experience supporting production environments on a schedule
* Experience working with customers through email
* Experience with documentation
* Good English skills

The job is to provide support for US customers of Arces Network. Some
of the work will be handling alarms from the monitoring system during
non-US hours (EU daylight hours), troubleshooting, fixing where
applicable, and escalating when necessary. There will be some on-call
work as well, handling response to alarms which occur outside of
business hours in both the US and EU. Additional work is proactive -
patching, upgrading, and maintaining systems and networks.

Arces has a number of customers, all of whom have critical properties
which we maintain. We're expanding our staff of people who do so, and
we're looking for applicants from Krakow and the surrounding areas.

The training program will require that those hired come to the US for
a month to work with Arces engineers on a daily basis. Upon
completion of training, the individuals will return to Poland and
continue working for Arces Network during the daylight hours in
Europe. Accomodations and basic expenses during the training program
will be provided by Arces.
