The main responsibilities as a Controls Engineer will include:
. Specification and design of control systems for manufacturing equipment
taking into consideration schedule and budget.Developing a detailed
understanding of all of the different automation systems including
distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers including SLC
500, Micrologics, Logix 5000.
.The candidate will be responsible for the specification and design of
control systems for manufacturing equipment taking into consideration
schedule and budget Software / Hardware development
.Software Testing / Commissioning Rslogix 5000 , SLC and RSNetworks.
.Development of Point Database/ Control Modules / Graphic User Interface
(Ifix).
.Implement code changes to the automation systems under change control.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
. Degree in software / Automation Engineering
.At least 3 years experience ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry but not
essential
.A strong knowledge of RSlogix 5000 and previous experience in PLC
controlled equipment, PC Controlled equipment, Database
.Knowledge of Visual Basic up to VB6.
.Ideally have experience with software Validation and familiar with GAMP
.Experience working in a start up / commissioning phase
.Ability to work on own with minimum supervision.
.Good interpersonal and communication skills.
.Documenting work procedures in compliance to all ISO9001 and current GMP
procedures and practices.
