Permanent - 2 year initial contract, renewable thereafter
Salary:
Depending on experience
Working Days:
6 days a week total: 48 hours
Organisational Relationship:
Reports to: Design Office Manager
Responsible for: Architectural Design
Job Summary:
Responsible for the Architectural design, supervision and production of
project drawings and specifications of various commercial projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design of various commercial projects.
Oversees production of project drawings and specifications.
Checks documents and drawings produced by the design engineers.
Coordination of structural and services drawings with our in-house
designers.
Liaison with all other structural and services Engineers.
Deputises for Design Office Manager in his absence.
Education/Licensure:
Minimum of B.Sc. in Architecture from an accredited institution of
higher education.
Proffessional Experience (essential):
A minimum of 10 years progressive post-graduate experience in a design
office with site experience.
Ability to prepare designs/drawings from initial concept to the
finished article. Knowledge of Microstation/AutoCAD design softwre.
Specialised Knowledge (desirable):
Experience in the following areas is also advantageous:
Residential
Office Buildings
Recreation Centres
The ability to speak Arabic would also be an advantage.
