I just made a linemas handset. im proud of myself cos it works.

Heh, congratulations! Yessiree, I sure remember the thrill I got after
making my first beige box. Of course, back then the cords were insulated
wiith cloth. You couldn't get the new-fangled vulcanized rubber, 'cause of
the war. And we had to walk fifteen, that's FIF-TEEN miles to the nearest
TNI to beige off of. We didn't have hands, so we'd just dial with our
bloody stumps. Ah, those were the good old days, mumble mumble go get
grampa his pills like a good boy, junior...
