Pay more attention to the background. This is especially important since
you have a camera with a small sensor so you cannot blur the background
that much. To achieve maximum background blur, use the most powerful
(optical) zoom, and get as close as proper focusing allows.

Still a very "busy" background, previous photo was almost better.
Objects in this background are close, so they will be in focus. Try to
find an angle where the stems ans the pot are hidden by leaves.
Otherwise shoot the flower against the sky or some very distant objects.

Take the same picture using MACRO mode (tripod is very helpful).
Don't push the shutter by finger, you can set timer (2 or 10 sec).
