The Pentlands section has grown some more and has now been totally
reorganised. There are some new images from East Cairn Hill, with more
from Black Hill to follow soon.

This is the link for the Pentlands Index page
http://www.henniker.org.uk/html/pent_index.htm

Pictures are now all sorted alphabetically, making it easier to see
landscapes under different weather or seasons etc.

Pentland Hills pages:

A 3 Reservoirs, A702, Allermuir, Black Hill
B Bonaly to Glencorse, Bonaly Reservoir
B Bonaly Snow, Bonaly Reservoir
B Bonaly views to the north
B Braid Law, Caerketton, Cap Law to West Kip
C Capelaw, Carnethy
C Carlops, Carnethy, Castlelaw
C Castlelaw, East Cairn Hill
E East Cairn Hill, Font Stone, Glencorse
G Green Cleuch, Harbour Hill, Hare Hill, Harlaw

Images are quality JPEGs usually 1152 x 864 pixels (most recent ones
shot with an Olympus E-10 digital camera) and are free for personal
use only, e.g. desktop wallpaper. None are to be exchanged as part of
a financial / business transaction.

best wishes, Dave.

Nice pics. I haven't looked at them all yet, but I certainly will.
I've always enjoyed landscape photography and have recently acquired
an E-10 so I was doubly interested. I've tended to think that
landscape is one of the more difficult types of photography with
digital. Digi cameras always seem to be at their best with
close/medium distance subjects and lose more detail at infinity than
film does - though of course things are improving all the time.

Unlikely - my news server, like most, doesn't carry free.uk groups
