Camerbags- recommendations?

It's been a long time since I've been in the market for camera bags/cases.
I'm not being price driven, but want a well made durable bag for my new 35mm
system. The Billingham line looks like a quality bag. Is there any others
that compare? Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated.

Hi, Gary.

If you get little feedback, it's because there's already a discussion on
camera bags in another thread here ("Camera Bag Advice"). Perhaps you
didn't see it when you checked first. :-)

These two companies were mentioned:
http://www.lowepro.com
http://www.kinesisgear.com

The first one works well for me; the second looks very interesting and
modular. If you have a specific manufacturer in mind, provide a URL and
you might get some specific feedback. (I'm not personally familiar with
Billingham.)

What do you want to fit into it? What kind of "work" are you going to

If you're interested in "coolness" as well as functionality,
www.crumplerbags.com, is sort of a "Prada" of the camera bag world.
Fancy materials, quality construction, good looking, interesting
designs (technically speaking).
