"forty-six percent" of "coma" guesstimated by the young belgium doctor
as in somw state of
consciousness, if i understand what he holds as reality

don't let partisan reflex preclude such, the remaining republican
rationalists are as dumbfounded as
everybody else---this is too fascinating to merely write-off as
inconsequential anomaly--the guy's mother
says she could read his face, and had actually perceived his moods and
feelings during those 23 years

Arthur Caplan, a bioethics professor at the University of
Pennsylvania, said he is skeptical of Houben's ability to communicate
after seeing video of his hand being moved along the keyboard.

"That's called 'facilitated communication,'" Caplan said. "That is
ouija board stuff. It's been discredited time and time again. When
people look at it, it's usually the person doing the pointing who's
doing the messages, not the person they claim they are helping."

Caplan also said the statements Houben allegedly made with the
computer seem unnatural for someone with such a profound injury and an
inability to communicate for decades.

Is the European press following this "astounding" development?

Now all we need to know is the retirement plan of that crooked UK
atmospheric scientist.

Anyone care to bet he gets a much high paying job with the carbon fuel
industry helping to "debunk" AGW?

Or retires quietly with a lot of cash?

I saw network news video, and as Farnsworth does not exactly
postulate, a video is worth 5 or 6 words...times a hundred or thousand
