For every class of object in the Universe that can be measured or seen
there theoretically can be calculated an average or a mean.
But what is the true meaning of the Universe beyond the average or the
mean?
It is the Glory of the Galaxies that fill the Heavens including the
stars in between.

In linguistics, the term grammatical number refers to ways of
expressing quantity by inflecting words. In the English sentences
below, the number of apples is indicated in several different ways:

That fresh apple is on the table.

Those fresh apples are on the table.

First, the noun "apple" appears in its singular form (often abbreviated
"sing.") within the first sentence and in its plural form (often
abbreviated "pl.") within the second. But the verb "to be" and the
demonstrative pronoun "that/those" also take different forms according
to whether one or more apples are implied. That is, some parts of
speech are inflected to indicate a quantity (one or more) denoted by a
noun. This is known as number agreement.

Plural is a grammatical number, typically referring to more than one of
the referent in the real world. In the English language, singular and
plural are the only grammatical numbers. In English, nouns, pronouns,
and demonstratives inflect for plurality.

In mathematics, an average or central tendency of a set (list) of data
refers to a measure of the "middle" of the data set. There are many
different descriptive statistics that can be chosen as a measurement of
the central tendency. The most common method, and the one generally
referred to simply as the average, is the arithmetic mean. Please see
the table of mathematical symbols for explanations of the symbols used.

In statistics, the term central tendency is used in some fields of
empirical research to refer to what statisticians sometimes call
"location". A "measure of central tendency" is either a location
parameter or a statistic used to estimate a location parameter.

Q: My dick is 6 inches long. Is that small? Or is it average? How large
is the average dick?

A: Here are the statistics on erect penis lengths for white college
men, in quarter-inch lengths

Average Penis Size

Therefore that singular dick is X inches long but when compared to a
population of dicks it is deviant from the mean of the bell curve or at
the tip of it, which would be (medium) long.
