Today the U.S. Senate is doing health care put-up or ... putting-it-up
some other day

Plus, FRONTLINE has that excellent officious, authoritative theme
music

The FRONTLINE website for the specific entire program is confusing to
me

Robert i saw this years ago .. and whilst it is good as an entry point
summary, it si made by a person who has NO IDEA how these other nations
actuialy do run their health care, why they do it that way, why they vote
for it depiste some misgivings ... and it fails to address the CORE issue of
why they have aUniversal health care system to BEGIN with ... iow it's the
usual simplified fluff peice that avoids getting in the real issues, the
spefici details of why this and not that in the holisitic picture of each
nations situation- and value principles involved.

so take it with a grain of salt .. if you want to know how or why the UK,
the jananese, the Australian system work and why they are like they are then
ask an intelligent Englishmen, a japanese, or an asutralian who has actually
been directly involved in studying these system .. to rely on a Journalist
... especially an American Journmalist on an American TV station is fraught
with DANGER becasue you will NOT disciover why things are like they are, and
WHY other nations have got it together maturely, an the US is still playig
games in the sand-pit.

I assure you that whaver comes out of Congress for the president to sign
will be much the same as every other piece fo Legislationn that place
produces -- crap, spin and unworkable and unfunded.

sorry for being so upbeat and positive, but hey that's the truth of it --
isn;t it?

What fucking leftist garbage, the Australian socialist health system
and no other fucking socialist health system is "working" and it never
can work, you fucking liar.

I got two different but related FRONTLINE programs mixed up,
and so I'll blame their website rather than a schmucky pesteror

As for the nuances of the varied cultures: Yes, of course, but I do
respect
and like T.R. Reid, and an academic dry compare and contrast isn't
much fun
anyway

MG, please cite an ideal working model:
Theory is not reality
