1. The American way of life requires a lot of oil.
2. Cheney went out a "secured" $40 trillion worth of oil.
WHY DON"T MORE AMERICANS LIKE DICK CHENEY?
? ? ?
Do they _really_ want to see him out in public kissing babies?

The proper way to acknowledge his greatness is to rename Guantanaimo
Bay the Dick Cheney Center for Enhanced Interrogation.

Maybe we should waterboard Cheney awhile?

I'm sure he'd enjoy it. It's no more than a fraternity prank.
He appears at the end of this video. I heard someone say. 20 years
ago, never trust someone who speaks out of the side of his mouth.

I liked him just fine as the Hunchback of Notre Dame

Cheney's character is tightly based on Duke of _Doonsbury_.

What exactly is Cheney doing to raise gas prices? I know Democrats are
blocking new off shore drilling.

His Iraqi quagmire and threats on Iran are certainly two obvious
places to look.

The world market will drag any U. S. contribution of oil up in price
like it was a rag doll.
In fact, releasing all 250 billion barrels of Iraqi oil cannot really
slow the increase in price of oil or delay the frog from jumping but
by a few months.
All drilling will do is allow rich people like Al Gore to fly around
on Lear jets a little longer.
It's not like _you_ will be able to afford it.

Iraqi oil production has long been restored.

If there's so little oil to be had, then there shouldn't be very much
impact on nature, so what's the beef?

So we better open up ANWR too.
> If there's so little oil to be had, then there shouldn't be very much

The beef is that the impact would be quite large, for very little benefit.
particularly when a lot of it's going to be wasted on low mileage vehicles.
Rather than burn up all the oil like there's no tomorrow, leave a little
petroleum behind for future generations to make things out of plastic.

It doesn't take much to make a mess, but birds and fish are not the
immediate concern.
The real concern is anyone thinking that it's possible to drill enough
oil to make a difference in how most Americans live, or, rather,
subsist.

ANWR has 250 billion barrels?

We need to tax oil and rebate the money.

It doesn't really have much to do with liking.
Since the idiot Cheney needs to be reminded 100 times a day,
that the American way of life requires AVIATION FUEL, liquid
oxygen,
nuclear reactors, GPS, stealth aircraft, laser-guided bombs, cruise
missiles,
A.I., internet, microcomputers, fiber optics, PV Cells, and robots,
much
than it does any deserts of oil.
