Repugs may support reforms simply because they aren't running anyone

That's as likely to lose votes as produce votes and many Republicans
tacitly or openly admit it. What Republicans won't admit is their
scandal mongering just a smoke screen for a fig leaf exit.

The legacy media can no longer prop up the GOP now that the Clintons
are, once again, sucking all the air out of the room. They cannot
stop Hillary so the media as well as the Republicans -- both git their
cornpone from the very same 0.01% -- are going after Obama.

Some of this is due to Obama losing focus his second term. That was
obvious when he made the dumb if true comment about the California
AG. But that might also be attributed to the Clintons' upstaging the
lame duck. Obama needed to stay on the economy especially disparity
of wealth 24/7/52. He didn't and the vacuum allowed noise to take
over the political debate.

On the plus side the scandal mongering is good for the economy. The
noise is now the official signal that everything is getting better.

Exactly.... Obama is there stopping all government tyranny.

Obama's even going to take my guns because there is no possible way for
government tyranny to show up while Democrats run things.

Oh, don't worry Sybil. Look for some poor 3rd century, cave dwelling

Fuck the "moral high ground". Republicans need to get down in the
gutter and play dirty like the Gimmeerats. Every time a Republican
uses progressive tactics against a progressive the progressive goes
into granmal siezures, because there's not a page in the Alinsky

Your projecting again. BushCo's quagmires of mass distraction were a
GOP thing, not Democrat.

That's how Obama won the Democratic Party base to beat the most
popular public servant in America today: Hillary Clinton

The neocons, always liberal as far as tax hikes on the rich and open
borders are concerned, quit the Dems and joined the GOP because they
knew the Democrats would never go around bombing Muslims for political
gain.

they wouldn't need to complain yet again about Republican/TEA PARTY

distraction that killed 4 orders of magnitude more innocent men, women

Once Republicans opened to door to patriotic quagmires of mass

"lock" the GOP in power forever.

Repugs wouldn't want Obama to cut 'n run would they?

Why has no one noted that the statute states that tax free status be granted only to organizations that cater "EXCLUSIVELY" to social benefit. For some reason (powerful Unions?) the IRS took it on itself to redefine EXCLUSIVELY as meaning "PRIMARILY".
With this redefinition, the IRS justifies granting tax-free status to any social/polical organization that limits it's polical activities/expenditures to less than 50%.
This was not the intent of the statute. The fault, as usual, is the do-nothing Congress!

What most on both sides fail to understand is that teabaggerism isn't
a throw back to something that seems backwards to Democrats today.

It's a form of despotism that is new to America. The "celebrated
Montesquieu" was clear that taxes and taxation were correlative.

If you want everyone to pay tax just tell GOP "market" economists to
quit dodgin' 'n dodgin' The Question:

"Does free speech precede each and every free trade?"

Montesquieu was clear: Progressive taxation goes back to ancient

Taxes are very low in the last 4 years.
Federal taxes are taking the lowest percent of
GDP since Truman was in office. Taxes haven't been
below 15% of GDP since 1950.
